Splinterlands: End of Season Report Card!🔥

Compared to the past several seasons, the most recent one has been quite boring. This wasn't because I lacked good cards, or simply because I suffered mostly defeats—although the latter is indeed true, it cannot be cited as the actual reason for the season's dullness. The real reason was that I was extremely busy with matters outside of the game this time around; consequently, I couldn't even play on most days. Furthermore, during the limited time I did play, I failed to perform well, which meant I couldn't advance beyond Tier 3 of the Gold League this season. All in all, I didn't really find any enjoyment in playing. Yet, despite playing for fewer days and feeling largely bored, I still managed to accumulate 42,000 Glints by the end of the season. This figure accounts for the cost of purchasing two sets of 10 Rare Draws—transactions I had made midway through the season. Additionally, when factoring in the earnings from the season-end loot, I successfully accumulated a total of 65,553 Glints this season. While this amount isn't quite enough for me to purchase a Legendary Draw—as I have done in the previous four seasons—it falls just short of the required sum. Therefore, in this new season, I will strive to bridge that gap within the next few days so that I can once again purchase a Legendary Draw.

Speaking of the leaderboard—as far as I recall, I finished somewhere in Tier 1 of the Silver League—so I’m not sure why the ranking system is currently displaying the Gold League. Looking at the scoreboard here, and seeing that I played 225 battles this season, you might be thinking, "Didn't he say he played less this time around, and that he was bored?" Well, my performance metrics provide the answer to that: whereas my win rate typically hovers between 50% and 55%, this time it dropped to just 45%. Despite playing 225 battles, I managed to win only 102 of them, suffering crushing defeats in all the rest. This was the primary reason why—partly due to personal circumstances limiting my playtime, and partly because the games I did play resulted in back-to-back losses—what was supposed to be fun began to feel like a chore. Thankfully, however, I managed to maintain my standing in Silver 1, which means that following the ranking reset, I will be starting off in Silver 3.

Now, let's talk about the upcoming—or rather, the current—season. First off, I plan to rent a few cards to enhance my gameplay. The very first of these is the Earth Element Archon, Elowen Sylphie. I have tested this Archon across several previous seasons, and its performance is truly exceptional; so, I will definitely be adding it to my lineup, while also looking out for other cards that align well with my strategy. In these initial days of the season, my primary objective is to accumulate 15,000 Glint so that I am ready to purchase a Legendary Draw. However, I am not entirely certain about purchasing a Legendary Draw; even if you manage to extract Legendary cards, the subsequent process of "unbinding" them is an extremely expensive undertaking—one that doesn't seem worth the cost to me at all. Consequently, I might decide against purchasing a Legendary Draw altogether; instead, if not Legendary, I will opt for Rare or Epic draws. Regardless of the choice, I will need to amass as much Glint as possible; to achieve this, I must quickly advance beyond the Silver League and climb into the Gold League, as the winning rewards in Silver III and II are simply not that substantial. By the end of this season, my goal is to earn 150,000 Glint or more; furthermore, I will make a concerted effort to finally break my own personal record and—for the very first time—unlock the Diamond League by progressing past Gold I.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
