Splinterlands: End of Season Golden Report Card!đŸ”„

For the past four or five seasons, I consistently saved up my Glint rewards throughout the entire season, using them at the very end to purchase a single Legendary Draw—a draw that costs 70,000 Glint. That was typically the maximum amount of Glint I could manage to accumulate. However, right from the start of this season, I resolved to make every effort to save up double that amount by the season's end. My goal was to purchase two Legendary Draws simultaneously and add two incredible cards to my deck. This mindset had a significant impact: this time around, I played more battles than ever before. Consequently, my win rate took a severe hit; after unlocking the Gold League within just the first two or three days of the season, I experienced a prolonged losing streak that sent me plummeting all the way down to Silver 1. I remained stuck there for quite some time, but just a few days before the season concluded, I staged a comeback—re-unlocking the Gold League and even managing to climb as high as Tier 2 within it. This season felt like a complete rollercoaster ride, but it was incredibly fun—and, fortunately, I did indeed manage to accumulate enough Glint to purchase two Legendary Draws. Woohoo! ✌

Previously, I didn't participate much in the Weekly Fortune Draw—or rather, I did participate, but most of the time I would simply forget to claim my daily rewards. However, this season, I took a very active interest in the Weekly Fortune Draw within the Modern Battle mode, and I made sure to diligently claim my daily rewards every single time. I recall that by this morning, my total entry count had reached 44. It was at this point that I took a step I had never taken before: with the start of the new week, a button became enabled that allowed me to check the prizes from the previous week. Driven by curiosity, I clicked it and discovered that I had received a number of "Lucky Coins" exactly equal to my total entries. It was then that I realized I had, in total, accumulated 108 Lucky Coins so far. The ultimate goal of this journey is to reach a total of 500 coins, upon achieving which I will receive a copy of a card known as "Luckiest Longshot." I researched this card on the marketplace to learn more about it; it is a "Gray" rarity card from the "Conclave Arcana Extras" set. It features a Mana cost of 7, along with a Range attack type and a Magic attack type. It also possesses two distinct abilities named "Trick Shot" and "Scattershot." While its Health and Speed stats are fairly basic, its unique attack types and its two abilities are excellent—making it well worth the effort to grind for it every single week.

Now, let's take a look at my standing on the leaderboard. First off—fortunately—I managed to finish the season within Tier 2 of the Gold League. Although my original goal was to reach Tier 1 of the Gold League, simply climbing back up to this position from the depths I had fallen to during my losing streak is, in itself, a significant achievement. As you can see here, I wasn't exaggerating: this season, I played a personal record of 320 battles. It was truly enjoyable, but given the sheer volume of matches, I wasn't able to maintain my win rate, and consequently, my overall performance this season wasn't quite as strong as it has been in previous seasons. My maximum win streak did improve, however; while I don't recall the exact figure from the last season, I believe the record stood at 6 or 7 consecutive wins. I managed to break that record this season, achieving a maximum win streak of 9 battles, though I only managed to climb as high as rank 113. Now, for the upcoming—and newly commenced—season, I am once again setting two primary goals: first, to earn enough Glint to purchase two Legendary draws again; and second, to reach Tier 1 of the Gold League. Wish me luck!😊

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!đŸ”„
