In this post, first of all I would like to talk about my guild officer teammate and a wonderful guide because this whole year and since my total Splinterlands journey is probably less than 2 years, then I can say that if anyone has given me the most and most valuable lessons in my entire Splinterlands journey, then it is @nozem01.

I don't think I could have asked for a better guide than Nozem. In life, you typically need to find a mentor and turn to them for knowledge and guidance. Here in Splinterlands, my mentor found me and provided me with the mantras to survive and progress in the game. I don't know how, but it's a blessing for my Splinterlands journey. Let me tell you, my questions are often so basic and stupid that they'd give anyone a headache. But this guide-cum-guildmate of mine, in layman's terms, selflessly answered every strange question I had about guilds and brawls, about the various cards and their rarities, about the many complex rulesets, about using rewards wisely, and many other topics.

One card that has stood me in good stead in most battles since the beginning of Splinterlands is the Neutral Epic Chimeric Beast, Pallus. It's an epic melee card, and being a grey card, it can be used freely with any other element in most battles. Equipped with the Reach ability, I can use it in the second position in any battle, even beyond some of the original limitations on melee attack power, which also suits my tactical plans. With 3 melee attack power, 3 speed, 1 armour, 7 health, and the flying ability, it solidifies as a strong second line of defence.
This is also the first card I purchased in Splinterlands after testing it in dozens of battles. Another great feature of Splinterlands is that you can rent cards, a great feature for players who like to make wise decisions. You can rent as many cards as you want and test them in different battle conditions, and then when you find a card that perfectly suits your battling style, you can purchase it and make it a part of your deck forever.

How can I forget the Kindred Spirit ability? Although it's useless solo because to activate it, you also need a card with the ability Kindred Will, which I don't have at the moment. But if I did, both cards would do wonders for each other's strengths, as the Kindred Spirit card gives the Kindred Will card the True Strike ability, and the Kindred Will card gives the Kindred Spirit card the Ambush ability. Imagine the impact of this combination on the enemy team, as your Level 1 Pallus will be able to perform an Ambush attack with 3 melee power, and the attacks of your other Ambush Will card will never miss.🔥
