Splinterlands: Added a Legendary Range Attacker to my deck!🔥

As you are aware, this season I have incorporated several Water Element cards into my deck. The most notable among them is the Blue Wyrm Travesty—the biggest melee attacker from the Escalation set—which was the very first card I added to kickstart the creation of a formidable team within this element. I rented a Level 3 version of this card because, at this level, it gains the "Slow" ability, which reduces the speed of opposing cards by -1. Subsequently, I also rented a Level 3 Archon Prophet Rosa, as one cannot fully utilise the potential of Archon cards without pairing them with other cards of a similarly high level. Furthermore, to make the best possible use of Prophet Rosa's abilities, I sought out ranged attackers; her powers allow you to grant +2 Ranged Attack power to two separate ranged attackers, or alternatively, bestow the "Shield" ability upon a single card. In this setup, I typically choose to grant the +2 Ranged Attack power to two cards; therefore, I require the best possible ranged attackers to fulfil that role.

Although I already possess a few ranged attackers, now that I was preparing to enter battle with a Level 3 Archon, I wanted to acquire some additional cards of the same level to provide an overall boost to the team's strength. For this role, the Legendary Endura Brune struck me as an excellent candidate; not only is this card equipped with decent ranged attack power, but it also boasts excellent health for survivability, possesses some armour, and features good speed. However, beyond its basic stats, what truly caught my eye were its remarkable abilities. With each ascending level, unique abilities are added to the card—specifically, at Level 2, the "Silence" ability is added, which reduces the attack power of all the opponent's magic cards by -1. At Level 3, the "Headwinds" ability is introduced, reducing the attack power of all the opponent's ranged attackers by -1. And at Level 4, the "Swiftness" ability is added, increasing the speed of every card on your own team by +1. However, I specifically required a Level 3 card, as my Archon—along with several other cards in my deck—was of that same level. Unfortunately, the Level 3 version of this card was not available for rent at the time, so I decided to rent the Level 2 version instead.🔥

And let me add that the "Silence" ability, which becomes available at Level 2, is going to prove extremely useful to me. Over the past two seasons, I have specifically noticed that most opponents battling with the Water Element have made extensive use of Magic cards, and the "Silence" ability specifically targets Magic Attack power. Therefore, for any future battles involving this element, I plan to utilise my Level 3 Prophet Sroka Archon. I will position the "Coralforged" card—which possesses the "Flank" ability and was recently won in a Silver loot chest—as my primary tank. Behind it, I will place the "Blue Wyrm Travesty" from the Arcana Escalation set—a truly mind-blowing Melee attacker. Finally, at the very end of my lineup, I will place this "Endura Brune" card alongside another Ranged card, both of which will primarily benefit from the +2 Ranged Attack boost provided by Archon. Depending on the specific Mana Cap for the battle, I may also include a few additional cards in this lineup. I will soon share some battle replays featuring this card and strategy so that its actual performance can be thoroughly analysed.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
