In this game, it is crucial to continuously refine your strategies alongside improving your ranking, as you simply cannot advance in the ever-changing landscape of Splinterlands without strategic acumen. Just two or three days ago, I incorporated Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut into my deck; however, after merely two days of testing, I realised that while the card is undoubtedly strong, it requires the support of a healer within the lineup to become truly unbeatable. Consequently, today—within the same Life element—I added Meriput Magician (a tank-healer who does not primarily function as an attacker) to my team. I expect that this tank will heal Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut's health in every round, thereby granting the rest of the team—as well as Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut himself—ample time to launch sustained attacks against the enemy. I have rented Level 3 of this card for the current season, for which I had to pay 2.90 DEC per day. While it is certainly not primarily an attacker, at Level 3, its Speed is quite good, and its Health is also decent—advantages that should prove beneficial in battle by allowing it to survive for an extended period while continuing to launch attacks. However, I will only be able to tell you how this setup actually performs once I have put it to the test on the battlefield.

Over the past several seasons, I have noticed that many opponents are assembling formidable teams within the Water element—utilising Magic cards—that manage to overpower even my strongest lineups. This becomes particularly devastating when they deploy the Rare Water Archon, Marlai Singariel, elevating their team's lethality to an entirely different level. I have witnessed my finest cards brought to their knees before such teams, and since I previously lacked any standout Magic attackers within the Water element, I decided to add two Water cards to my deck this season. One of these additions is the Rebellion Elf, Thanalorian Scion. I have rented this card at Level 3, paying the full season's rental fee at a rate of 15 DEC per day. While this card is not primarily designed as an attacker, the specific reason I added it is its "Void Armour" ability, which redirects incoming Magic damage to its Armour rather than its Health. Additionally, its "Corrosive Ward" ability inflicts -2 return damage to the Armor of any melee attackers that strike it; and although it may not be a dedicated attacker on its own, the presence of an Archon allows its Magic attack power to be boosted by +1.

Finally, the Abyssal Elemental is an Epic Water card that, at Level 1, typically comes with just one Magic attack; however, for this season, I have rented it at Level 3. At this level, the card's default attack power increases to 2 Magic, which—with the assistance of the Archmage—I can further boost to 3 Magic attacks. Consequently, the impact of its attacks will deal a massive blow to the opponent. Aside from its attack power, the most unique feature of this card is its Resurgence ability, which grants it the power to reappear after being knocked out—and to do so with 100% of its stats fully restored. It is akin to having two identical cards at your disposal; although both cannot be fielded in the same team simultaneously, the moment one is knocked out, its alternate form immediately emerges to take its place. I have already tested this card during the previous season, and thus far, it has delivered an excellent performance; I will share further updates regarding its progress in my upcoming posts for this season.🔥😎

Abyssal Elemental’s Resurgence is so clutch basically a free second life. I’m curious how Meriput Magician pairs with Dar 'Gottem' Gearnut in practice.
Great collection warrior! Good luck with these cards.
