Winning and losing are one thing, but competing against an opponent who is many times more powerful and experienced is an entirely different level of challenge, and if you manage to win in such a scenario, the joy that follows is equally unique!
Above, you can witness a scene from one of my battles. Under the "Up to Eleven" and "Target Practice" rulesets, more than half of the cards on my team are at Level 1, and even my highest-level card is merely at Level 3. Conversely, on the opposing side, my opponent's very first card is a Black Foil card at its maximum Level 10. Furthermore, the rest of their team consists of Level 4 and Level 3 cards—two of which possess two different types of attack powers—and one card has been positioned in the lineup in such a way that, despite initially having no attack power of its own, it becomes equipped with all three types of attack powers before the battle even begins.

Apart from their attack power, all of them possess incredible abilities—some of which I had never even heard of before, such as "Invigorate," which prevents allied cards from becoming exhausted, and "Deflection Shroud," which grants the Deflect ability to adjacent cards. Witnessing all of this, I was already mentally bracing myself for defeat in this battle. To make matters worse, when the enemy's very first attack dealt a massive 9 points of melee damage to my tank card, I felt that it would be a major feat if my team could survive even two rounds in this battle; the enemy had slowed down my cards' speed so drastically that they couldn't even execute their attacks first, and the enemy's attacks were so devastating that simply managing to withstand them would be an achievement in itself.

I have explained my opponent's lineup to you only to the best of my understanding; however, once you witness this battle for yourself, you will realize that every aspect—from my opponent's card selection to the precise positioning of those cards—was executed as part of a meticulously calculated strategy. Frankly, I hadn't devoted even 10% of that level of thought to my own team's lineup. Yet, thanks to @davemccoy Sir, I did possess a few excellent cards; utilising these, I established a proper defensive formation while also integrating offensive cards into my team—specifically alongside the Dragon Archon, Nidhoggr. Thanks to its abilities, three of my chosen cards gained +2 Speed as well as the 'Execute' ability. The immense advantage of this single move became evident during the battle when my opponent lost two of their cards before a single one of mine had been knocked out. That was the moment I felt: "So what if I lose? I’ve certainly put up a fierce fight against a pro player who is many times more powerful than I am."

But who knew that in this tough fight, the opponent would be the first to give in?
If you were to ask me about my best battles to date, this one would certainly rank among them—not merely because I won it, but also because I learned a great deal from my opponent during the match. The way my opponent lined up their cards was, in my opinion, truly exceptional. While it is true that I emerged victorious in this battle, I remain—comparatively speaking—a new player who is still in the process of learning. Yet, it is equally true that this victory has given a significant boost to my confidence. I am now off to track down some of those unique cards that featured in my opponent's team; so, if you happen to face me in a battle next time, you had better come prepared!🔥😎
