Alright, so in this week's 🌟Community Engagement Challenge,🌟 I'll be showing you some of my favourite hidden gem cards in Splinterlands and my strategy with them that I use to win most battles unless the enemy team has better level 2 or above cards. If you're new to Splinterlands or you've been playing for a while and you're still exploring different cards, then these cards and my strategy can help you put a lot of pressure on the enemy even in low mana battles. I use this strategy especially with the Life element, as in my deck, I only have those Gem cards in that element. If your deck has cards with similar abilities in other elements, then you can implement this main idea with any supportive Archon that strengthens their powers and analyse the results. This strategy primarily revolves around 2 Magic cards (Janni Rebel and Harbinger of Chaos), an Archon Avina of the wolf, which I find best for this, and I additionally use Pallus, my favourite melee attacker, who often places in the second position in my lineups.

First of all, let us understand about these two magic gems because the rest of the team will be selected on the basis of these 2. The first one is Harbinger of Chaos. For 8 mana, this powerful magic attacker comes with average speed and good health and along with this, you get the Divine Shield ability in it from its level one card itself, according to which this card completely ignores the first attack of every enemy at once. This card has very rarely disappointed me because firstly, the magic attack ignores the armours and directly targets the health and secondly the Divine Shield ability provides it great protection, so these stats are undoubtedly a good deal in 8 mana.

The second gem among them is Janni Rebel. 2 Magic Attack Power, 7 Health and 2 Speed ​​for 9 mana makes it a decent card, and its Inspire ability gives an additional +1 melee power to the melee attackers in the team, after which all the melee cards in the team become extra powerful. So considering this card's own stats plus its ability which strengthens the other cards, it is truly a gem card for 9 mana.

Above were the main gems of this strategy. Now, since we have a card whose ability empowers melee cards, for the frontline we need a good defender, and if he is also an offender, then it is even better. This decision also depends on the mana cap set for the battle but since I am telling you this strategy for a medium mana battle, let's assume we have a 30 to 40 mana cap, in such a case, you can place two cards of 8-9 mana on the frontline. Here I have placed the 2 best melee cards available in my deck, out of which one has true strike ability, due to which his attacks will never miss, and the other has flying, reach and kindred spirit abilities. And both the cards are equipped with 3 melee attack power, which makes them deadly level one cards. Although you can also use any other melee cards instead. The main idea is to use the +1 melee ability that one of our Magic Gems has while also creating a good combination of different attack types.

Now imagine a battlefield where your Archon gives +2 Speed ​​to any 2 cards of your choice or Healing ability to any one card of your choice. However, I mostly choose +2 Speed, because having such good cards and being able to attack first allows you to build heavy pressure on the enemy right from the start, and if you have extra mana left, you can add even better cards. Let me show you one of my recent battles where I used these gems exactly as we just discussed!

However, in this battle, I had some extra mana cap, so I placed two ranged attackers at the end of the lineup. Both of them have good attack power, and one of them has very good armour and speed, along with dodge ability, which is hardly useful in this battle because the enemy has only one melee attacker. But the rest of the lineup, including the archon, is exactly like I just told you. Now you can see how powerful these cards have become after getting extra melee attack power, and most of my cards have tremendous speed as well.

Above you can see two important cards of the enemy who was knocked out in the second round, and this is just the beginning. By the way, if you have noticed, the enemy also had one of these gems of mine, but I don't know why he did not use the ability of his card properly. This is a big thing which proves that your strategy and wisdom play a bigger role in your victory than your cards.

Round 3 and 4🔥

Here, I have lost only one card from my team so far, and the enemy is nearing its end. Both of us had equal mana cap, and both of us used level one cards. This blog is especially to encourage new players that it is not at all necessary to have higher level cards to win. You can build a great team by understanding the capabilities of the cards and empowering each other with them and as far as including these or similar cards in your deck is concerned, I do not even ask you to purchase cards directly in the beginning. Rent the cards and test them with your strategies and mindset until you understand their every advantage and drawback, then when you find a card perfect, go shopping. Before raising the level of cards, raise the level of your strategies, only then you will be able to enjoy this game to the best and also move towards better rewards.
