It's been almost two years since I became a part of Splinterlands, but I got an invitation to join a guild just a few months ago. Although even then I had no knowledge of guilds and brawls, my in-game mentor, Nozem, shared his explainer articles with me, in which all the information related to Splinterlands is explained in a very simple language with examples, so if you also get confused about Splinterlands, then you must read these articles.
As I mentioned earlier, initially I was unaware of the guild and the battles that take place within it; however, I soon began to understand and enjoy it. Brawls are essentially a group of players in the game, where different battles are fought periodically. They differ from regular battles, which can be played at any time. Apart from this, by being a part of a brawl and doing battles, your rewards also get a tremendous boost because after every set of battles, the rewards are distributed among all the players of the guild. Here, rewards are also of two types, one Merits and SPS. You all know about SPS tokens in these, and apart from this, you can purchase existing items from the guild store by using merits. Since my guild store inventory currently has only the Gladius Case, so I only know about the rewards found inside it. Gladius Case is basically a pack which costs 2000 Merits and this pack contains 5 random cards from the Gladius gladiator cards set. At least one of these five random cards is guaranteed to be a rarer or better card. In Guild Brawls, you can use a gladiator card, which can prove to be very helpful in winning the game.
I have purchased a dozen such packs so far, and I have got many amazing cards in this series. Today, by purchasing another Gladius pack, I have won an epic card, which is a melee attacker of Life Element. However, all the other cards are also very good and different strategies can be made with them as well, like Isgald Vorst. This is also a melee card, and its speed, opportunity ability, armour, and decent attack power at five mana make it a good card. Along with this, Chimney Wallstop is an excellent card of 10 mana cost; its attacking power is better than even rare cards, but it is weak in one important plac,e and that is its speed. And if you have read my previous blogs, then you will know that I give a lot of importance to the speed of a card. You can survive even with a little less health, but your ability to perform the attack first gives you an edge in bottles, and it cannot be ignored. These are the nuances that make one card better than another, and the same quality you can see in the rare card as well.
And the amazing thing is that this is not the first time I have won this card, even before this, I had 3 copies of this card, and with this one, I have enough copies to go from level 1 to level 2. So now you should not look at it with its basic stats, although its basic level one stats are also great, but after leveling up, its stats will increase by +1 melee and it will become even more deadly than before. Talking about my strategy with this card, since it has the Reach ability, I will place it in the second position in the lineup. Before this, I will try to place another melee card in the first position, which has the best health, and if possible, it should have Thorns or any retaliation ability like that or some kind of shield. By having such a card in the first position, Marisol Contuma, who will be in the second position, will get good defence, and while maintaining a safe distance, this card will leave no stone unturned in causing heavy damage to the enemy.
This is the advantage of playing in brawls. Your rewards get a great boost, plus the best cards are added to your deck, which eventually increases your winning probability, and you also improve your in-game ranking and you must know As the good, higher-level cards increase in your deck and your in-game ranking increases, your rewards also increase. Playing in Splinterlands not only gives you a lot of fun, but it also gives you a chance to win a lot of rewards with every battle every day.

Congrats on leveling up Marisol! That's a good card and one of my favorite gladiators. The only bummer with level 2 is if your opponent has a tank with forcefield it only does one damage.
Congratulations! I am happy for your achievement. Keep it up. I hope to meet you in one of the Splinterlands matches. Vonak !BBH !PIZZA !LOLZ
