Collector Binders: An amazing new feature for Splinterlands collectors!🔥

Have you noticed this new option in the top-left menu on Splinterlands? Since last night's maintenance, a new icon labeled "Collect" has been added. It is a delightful feature for all die-hard Splinterlands fans, essentially giving you the chance to display, organise your most awesome cards—like an art collector—through a beautiful new interface designed for your favorite cards.

As the name suggests, this is a collector's binder; much like other collectors, you can view others' binders and decorate yours with creative, colorful stickers. Every collector has a unique style—for instance, I focus more on collecting high-rarity and gold foil cards rather than completing full sets, and lately, I’ve started collecting skins as well. This free 3-page binder will help me display all those awesome cards in one place, and I can even choose a custom cover for it. If three pages aren't enough, you can add more to your binder whenever you like for just 200 DEC per page.

After claiming your free 3-page binder, you arrive at the setup page where you can name your binder whatever you like—for instance, I named mine "My Awesome Cards." There are also plenty of cover options available; the 'Fire' theme was selected by default, but I switched it to 'Earth,' saved the changes, and proceeded. Next, the page shown below opens, revealing your blank binder ready to be decorated. From what I can see, each page displays nine cards; you get three pages for free, and you can add extra pages for just 200 DEC per page. One important point: displaying your best cards in the binder doesn't mean they become unavailable for gameplay. No, the binder is simply a feature to showcase your best collection beautifully in one place; all your cards remain fully available for use in the game.

As you can see in the screenshot below, adding cards is incredibly easy; just like the filters you use for your collection or the market, multiple filters are available here as well. If you know the card names, you can simply search for and add them; otherwise, you can locate your favorite cards using the other filters or by simply scrolling. To add a card to the binder, just click and drag your chosen card, then drop it into the desired sleeve. Managing them is also very simple: clicking on a card opens a pop-up displaying all its details, where you can add specific notes for each card or remove it from the binder. You get three pages with nine slots each for free, allowing you to display a total of 27 cards at no cost. A Splinterlands announcement reveals that this feature lays the groundwork for major developments; the developers are working on concepts such as collection scores, leaderboards, achievements, in-game trading, collector events, and new ways to showcase your collection. This means we can expect a series of unique updates throughout the year, ensuring the game evolves beyond just being a battleground.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
