If the Creatures of Splinterlands Could Talk, What Would They Tell Us?

I sometimes look at the different creatures in Splinterlands and wonder what they would be like if they could actually speak. We spend so much time looking at their cards, abilities and appearances that we rarely think about their personalities. Are some naturally friendly? Are others difficult to approach? Which ones would have the funniest things to say?

It might sound like a strange idea, but I think it would be interesting to imagine what conversations between these creatures would look like.

The Proud and Powerful Ones

There are some creatures in Splinterlands that look like they would never accept being defeated or disrespected. Just looking at their appearances gives the impression that they have strong personalities.

I imagine some of them would be extremely proud. They would probably spend a lot of time talking about their strength and reminding everyone how important they are.

Imagine two powerful creatures arguing about who deserves to lead their group. Neither wants to accept the other’s opinion, and both believe they are the strongest.

It would probably be an entertaining conversation.

The Quiet Ones

Then there are creatures that look like they would barely speak.

I imagine some would prefer staying away from unnecessary conversations. They might spend most of their time observing what happens around them rather than getting involved.

Interestingly, these could be the creatures with the most knowledge. They might have seen things that others have never experienced and understand parts of the Splinterlands universe that remain mysterious to everyone else.

Sometimes, the quietest person in a room knows the most.

The Funny and Unpredictable Creatures

I also imagine there are creatures that would make everyone laugh.

Not every character in a fantasy world has to be serious or intimidating. Some could have unusual personalities, strange habits and a funny way of communicating.

Imagine a creature that constantly gets itself into trouble but somehow always manages to escape. It might not be the most powerful member of its group, but everyone enjoys having it around.

I think characters like these would make the Splinterlands universe feel more alive.

What Would They Think About Humans?

This is probably my favourite part of the idea.

If the creatures of Splinterlands could communicate with humans, what would they think about us?

Would they consider us interesting visitors, potential friends or strange beings who know very little about their world?

Some might be curious about how humans live. Others might find our habits unusual.

I can even imagine a creature asking why humans spend so much time collecting cards featuring creatures they have never actually met.

That would be a funny question, considering how much time players spend building their collections.

Would They All Get Along?

Of course, giving these creatures personalities would also raise another interesting question.

Would they actually like one another outside battles?

We already know that Splinterlands brings together creatures with different appearances, abilities and elemental associations. But imagine removing the competitive side of the game.

Would creatures from different Splinters become friends? Would some refuse to associate with others? Could two creatures that appear completely different discover that they have similar interests?

Perhaps some would become close friends despite coming from different backgrounds.

Others might never agree on anything.

A Different Way of Looking at the Game

I enjoy thinking about these little possibilities because they make me look at Splinterlands differently.

A card is usually something we examine for its usefulness, appearance or place in a collection. But imagining the personality behind a character gives it another dimension.

I would honestly enjoy seeing more storytelling that explores the individual personalities of the creatures. Even short conversations, funny interactions or stories about their everyday lives could make the universe more entertaining.

After all, a world becomes more interesting when its inhabitants feel like actual characters rather than just figures appearing during battles.
