Picking Up The Best Packs From Foundations, Starter, and Standard Cards Pack In Splinterlands

Hello, my lovely friends in the Splinterverse.

I hope everyone of you is having a great time in the Splinterlands. The Splinterlands is getting more excitement now as the new and exciting gameplays are coming to the Splinterverse on a regular basis. Currently, I am building my decks for modern format as in modern format I need the new cards to do battles. So, as my strategy that I have mentioned in my previous blogs, how I am preparing for the modern decks. As my participation in the "Splinterlands Social Media Challenge!" I will discuss how I am selecting the card packs and which one is the best choice for the deck-building strategy and preparing for the modern battles.

Nowadays, the deposit fees in the SWAP.HIVE is 0.75% which is the default fees in the tribaldex format but in the beeswap porteal often the fees are less but now everywhere the fee is similar. So, I have deposited 172.249 Hive through the tribaldex and also swap all the Hive into DEC token. I have got around 46.6 K DEC by swapping my hive which I have deposited in the Splinterlands game.

I have spent around 45K DEC in the card packs including 15 Foundation cards that costs around 10 K DEC, 15 starter packs that costs 15K DEC and 5 standard packs that costs 20K DEC.

For evaluating the performance of these packs I will open them all and then I will analyze the price of the total cards that I make from these cards. And try to find out the most value in return on investment.

I bought these foundation packs because I have not enough foundation cards for entering into the weekly lotteries with enough entries as with the lower number of cards my winning ratio is very low. I hope I can increase the winning ration with more foundation cards in my decks.

By opening these 15 Foundation packs, I have pulled 2 Legendary cards and 5 Epic cards which is quite good opening season. I have also got around a dozens of RARE cards. In terms of ROI values, these cards from these 15 packs is around $5.09. And my 10K DEC price is around $7.6 so a loss of $2.6 is visible in the case of purchasing foundation packs. The reason behind this is the lack of summoners in my pulls as some summoners can increse the value more than the pack value in my observation.

For the Conclave Arcana packs I bought 5 standard packs for checking my luck with the hope for a GF legendary or the Black Foiled or Black Arcana which can instantly make my portfolio a richer and I want to keep trying for grabbing such amazing pulls like this time I bought 5 packs. I have also bought 15 starter packs for pulling some summoners from the packs as my summoners are in lower level for the Conclave Arcana edition.

From these 15 starter packs I have pulled three summoners from the Fire, Water and Earth team and the I have also pulled more 17 Rare cards from the new cards edition.

In terms of values I have pulled the cards worth $10.72 from the starter packs by spending 15000 DEC that costs around 11.4 which is only an small amount of $0.68 less. So, this loss is really a tiny fraction, If I could pull another summoner then I could be inthe profiting side. That's why I always keep opening packs with buying specefc cards for my modern decks in Splinterlands as my strategy.

Finally, it is time to open the standard packs that has the maximum possiblity for return on investement but you have to be very lucky to have great pulls. I have bought all the required potions and open all of my 5 packs altogether.

From the first two packs I have pulled one Epic though it is not expensive cards but luckily, I have pulled a earth summoner which is a great card for my battles. And also this summoner is the most expensive summoner from the Rare category.

I have been lucky enough this time for the later packs as I have pulled a gold foiled summoner from the water team which has make my investment into the profiting side as the GF version of the summoner is always very expensive. I have also got another earth summoner and a gold foiled common card from the 5th pack.

The overall price of these cards from these 5 packs is $16.01 according to the listing price and my cost for the 20K DEC is around 15.3 which is a solid gain of $0.71 which is not in the loss side. So, after comparing all of these three types of card packs, the standard packs are profitable in this time with my Gold foiled summoner, otherwise it could be a loss of half of my value as I have not pulled any legendary cards and only one Epic card.
