My Favorite Monsters Combo In Frontier Format

Hello, my lovely friends in the Splinterverse.

I hope every one of you is having a great time in the Splinterlands. The Splinterlands is getting more excitement now as the new battle edition, the Frontier format is live now, and now the expected rewards for the players, the foundation cards are tradable, and transferable that add great opportunity for the players. As my participation Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge: Battlefield Breakthroughs!, I am going to talk about one of my top favorite combo from the death team from the foundation cards collection. I hope it will help you select or consider your strategy to do better in your frontier battles.

Frontier format is the latest battle format that has been implemented in the Splintelrands, which is completely free, and any new players can participate with their cars they earned in the campaign mode. Besides the regular cards, there will be weekly Frontier Draws that will reward the players with some amazing black foil cards which are in limited number of circulation and excessively expensive cards. If you haven't learned about that in details, you can read my previous article here for better knowledge on that.

In my favorite Death combo, primarily I chose these following three monsters, with one melee attackers and other two cards are magic attackers.

1. NIM GUARD CAPTAIN
2. SORROW HARVESTER
3. LITTLE SISTER

The first monster Nim Guard Captain is a solid TANK with the void ability that makes this card a good choice magic magic-oriented battles. Among all the TANKS at the mana cost of 7, this effective monster has a large number of health that can be further enhanced by levelling up with a decent speed that makes it an excellent card in the battle.

Also, it has 3 armors at the initial level that can be further increased to 5 at higher level that makes this card an effective one against non-magic attacks also and so I use it frequently. The only drawback I can find out is the number of melee attack is one one and this is not increased throughout higher level that s currently available.

My 2nd choice is an Epic from the death team which is a magic attacker. This 7 mana card is awesome as most of the foundations cards are high MANA card with less attacks or less abilities. But this card is a great card with it stats.

At 7 MANA, it offers 2 magic attacks which is really a great supportive card for the frontier battles. It has also the amazing ability of WEAKEN which decreases -1 health to the all enemy monsters.

The third monster that I have selected for the combo is another magic attacker with a MANA cost of 6. As I have told already, most of the cards are high MANA cards in the foundation collection. This 6 MANA card can be a great choice as a supportive card to have in the line up. It has also an amazing ability of Life Leach that allow it to gain extra life after each damage to enemy monsters. It will have two magic attacks after it's first level up which is also a great thing for this excellent monster.

For example, I have recently complete a battle with this line up and some other cards as follows. The combo was really an amazing for me so far.

You can clearly see that at the round 1 I have killed enemy's TANK very easily without loosing any of my monster. It was the first step that my team was going to win the battle.

The heavy performance with all kinds of attacks of my TANK plays a key role for any battles at any circumstances. And the other two supportive magic attackers do their own job to damage by bypassing the enemy's armors that is another great advantage of my excellent combo.

With the excellent performances by my team, finally I got a relatively easier win against the opponent. Though there is no SPS reward or Glint in the Frontier format but the reward of foundation cards and the entry for the Frontier Draws is the key goal for me to play the frontier format on daily basis to grab some genuine reward in the coming days.
