DEC price up by over 20% in a month. My DEC Buying Strategy

Earlier I talked about my plan for buying more DEC and I was happy. I was happy because I was able to buy dec tokens at the discount of more than 30%. I was even more happy because I could buy a couple of times at that low price. Now I'm not really very happy today because price is increased. I buy more dec because I use this token for the rental payment of cards. I know that there are multiple options for making the payment in cards rental market but I prefer DEC. I prefer DEC because I get it at discounted price so I buy and keep a balance. A few months back I had a good balance of tokens which was almost 100k. now that balance is used for the payment so I am buying more.

I was just checking the price today and it is surprising that the price for DEC has gone up. Let me tell you that in last one month this price has gone up by more than 20%. I use all my HBD reward to buy dec and since I have no big balance so I need to buy in parts. This price increase of 22% in last one month has affected my buying for now. I will try to see if I can accumulate more HBD. If I can have a good balance of HBD then I will wait for some time when I can buy more dec if price drops.

This is how I swap HBD to dec token using keychain and this is such a easy way to get the conversion done. Mostly I convert all my HBD to DEC only and I keep on doing it frequently. I will wait for some time to see if there is a drop on the price for DEC. If not then anyways I will have to go ahead and buy some because I will need those tokens to pay for the rental.

This is the price for D E C in high engine market. Price is going up as you can see in last two weeks approx. It is good for the game but not good for me to be honest because I need to pay more HBD and as a buyer I expect discounted price for HBD but this is market. We can't control market and we just need to go with the flow whatever it is with the price and overall movement.

Rental is very good option in the game and I have completed one year with this game so in this tenure I am dependent upon the rental market. These days I can get a lot of cards on the reasonable price which is also good because this can encourage more new players to be part of the game. I am still new because I know that there is a lot which I need to understand it well. I hope to see many more people coming up on this game and this community can be even bigger. The splinterlands proposal is funded again and its another good news.

Conclusion

I do not know many technical things about the funding proposal but all I know is that if it is above the threshold of return proposal then funding starts automatically. It is a complete automated process where manual intervention is not required. It is good that this entire mechanism is designed in such a way that does not require any physical or manual intervention that is really good and I hope this funding continues to be on for the remaining time so that the splinterlands get whatever they need to make things better in the game.
