Escalation About a Day Left in the Presale!

(edited)

A quick reminder that Escalation Presale is ending in about a day! If you wanted to participate in presale now is probably the time to get ready to snipe last minute deals. The SPS token remains priced at very reasonable levels of $0.005779 and at some of the lowest levels for the last month or so. Continued weakness in crypto markets is definitely not helping the strength of the SPS tokens. But because Escalation presale packs are priced in SPS this creates a nice discount for the price of packs.

Update on the Presale Status

My last update on the Escalation Presale was from about five days ago, let's see how things changed since then. My last update was on February 17th 2026 and we had 337,714 packs still available out of the half a million pack total. Today we have 316,350 packs still available or 21,364 packs sold since February 17th.

It is a solid progress but we still didn't break the halfway point of 250,00 packs. It is getting close though and I think we will hit that mark by the end of the presale as people fight for the positions on the presale leaderboard and secure their spaces.

If we look at the price of SPS token it is slightly down from almost $0.005955 cents on February 17th

To $0.005795 today. The drop in Bitcoin and altcoins today probably had something to do with this decline.

Since packs are priced at 350 SPS per pack at 350*0.005795=$2.02825 per Escalation pack. So we are basically at $2 a pack. I remember people asking for two dollar packs. So this is your chance to buy packs for only two dollars...

Update of the Escalation Presale Leaderboard

On February 17th we had this on the Escalation leaderboard: https://images.ecency.com/DQmag6SkmAZgsimDzi85qGBGtRYiwQLjveX8s7QpGn2x7oV/image.png

The first four spots remain exactly the same but we see that Dratek has moved up into the fifth position and JeffOpensCards is out of the top six.

The next tier of leaderboard prizes comes as top twenty and here we see very little movement since last week.

Olebulls has purchased thirty more packs but has remained in the twenty first position. Seems like it would make sense to snipe a few packs last minute to move up to the top twenty and get a black foil Doldrus...

At top thirty which is an important cutoff as you get a legendary title in the top thirty vs an epic title after top thirty we see that

The cutoff has moved up from 1,400 packs to 1,500 packs, that is a noticeable movement:

That is a hundred packs more or $200 difference, while the difference in prizes is only one gold foil Portia. I don't think 1 BCX of a legendary promo cards will be worth $200...

The top one hundred is where you go from an epic title and one BCX of a golden Doldrus to just a rare title. Epic titles are good for land production boost.

Here we see a similar situation to the previous prize tier where the cutoff moved up a hundred packs from about three hundred packs to over four hundred packs:

And the last prize tier moved up from twenty packs to fifty packs for the rare title:

In this tier the cost for the rare title more than doubled and now stands at around $100 but you obviously get fifty Escalation packs in addition to the rare title.

I think the sweet spot for packs stands at around 1,100 to 1,200 packs because you are pretty much guaranteed a max level regular foil legendary card and Epic title as well as one BCX of golden foil Doldrus.

In 1,100 packs you can expect around 4,400 common cards, we have twelve common cards so you get around 367 common cards at 100 more packs and 1,200 you are getting close to maxing out the common cards and the rest could be purchased from the market as it is impossible to get even distribution of the common cards in packs...

The cost for this purchase would be $2,231 which is significant. Epic titles are priced between $200 and $400 so it is $2000 for the packs less the cost of one BCX of Doldrus. Rare modern promo cards are priced between $6 and $20 so not much of a discount there.

I guess a decision has to be made if spending $2,000 on 1,100 packs is a better investment than buying max level modern cards on the market. And there is also element of luck involved, you might get some golden legendary cards in those packs...
