Hi everyone, how are you? I hope you are all doing well. Today, I will discuss the Stonebind Matron a powerful Common Earth unit added to the Splinterlands Conclave Arcana reward set. Although it is a common card, its high speed, magic attack, and exceptional combination of abilities make it highly effective on the battlefield. The Stonebind Matron is a valuable addition, especially for those who prefer using the Earth Splinter. Let’s dive into a discussion about this card today.
The Stonebind Matron card enters the battlefield at Level 1 with 2 Magic Damage, 4 Speed, and 4 Health. Its high speed allows it to evade enemy attacks, while its Magic Attack enables it to strike the opponent's Health directly. However, the Stonebind Matron becomes even more formidable at higher levels; at its maximum level, it boasts 3 Magic Attack, 6 Speed, and 8 Health stats that are exceptional for a Common card. One of its key strengths is the 'Opportunity' ability, which allows it to target and attack the enemy unit with the lowest Health.
However, at higher levels, the Stonebind Matron gains two additional abilities: Triage and Poison Burst. The Triage ability heals the most damaged backline ally unit each round, allowing your crucial damage dealers or support units to survive longer. Meanwhile, the Poison Burst ability triggers when the unit is defeated, giving the attacking enemy a chance to become poisoned and potentially inflicting the poison effect on nearby enemies as well. Its 'Opportunity' ability quickly eliminates the enemy's weakest units, 'Triage' helps sustain the team, and 'Poison Burst' can damage the opponent even after the unit is defeated. Therefore, it is an incredibly valuable and versatile card for Earth Splinter players. If you are looking for a powerful Common card from the Conclave Arcana reward set, the Stonebind Matron is definitely one you should have in your collection.
