Hi everyone, how are you all? I hope everyone is well. Today i taking about splinterlands Avatar Shop. Along with gameplay and card strategy, Splinterlands has given us a great opportunity to express our own identity. The **Avatar feature added to the game has changed the entire ecosystem. Now you don't have to stick with the usual or default profile picture like before. You can decorate your own character exactly like the game. In today's blog, I will discuss Splinterlands' Avatar Shop, its Backgrounds, Frames and other related things. Let's get started.
First of all, the question that will come to your mind is what is Avatar Shop? This is a market for creating your own identity, which you can completely customize the appearance or appearance of your in-game appearance by going to Avatar Shop directly from the Splinterlands menu. There are basically 4 bloodlines or races: Human, Orc, Elf and Dwarf, each of which has 2 body types (male/female). You can change your bloodline a total of 5 times for free. However, if you want to change more than 5 times, you will need Polymorph Potion, which can be made with Aura found in the land. After choosing a bloodline, you can customize your character's eyes, hair, clothes and accessories. However, this was a feature with Avatar.
What are backgrounds? This means that the background is what the background will look like behind the avatar you created. When you win at the end of a match, your avatar will appear on the victory screen. An attractive background makes your profile different from others and gives it a premium look that is quite nice to look at, but in addition to the normal background, Premium Backgrounds have been added to the Avatar Shop. In addition, special limited edition backgrounds can be purchased in the shop during various events in the game (such as Winterfest or Eggstravaganza).
What is a frame or border? This is the border or frame that surrounds your avatar or profile picture. This frame expresses your rank, game status or premiumness. Having a gorgeous frame will make other players realize that you are a pro-level or dedicated player as soon as they see your name in the battle lobby or on the leaderboard. Like the backgrounds, new premium frames are being added to the Avatar Shop, which are based on dark, golden or fantasy themes.
Beyond the avatar shop, backgrounds and frames, there are a few things you need to know in this new update, such as player cards, which are not just cosmetic or for show. Each player starts with 20 free points, which can be used to upgrade status, abilities or mana cost. It has to be leveled up using the game's 'Glint'. These player cards or instances can be directly summoned in certain tournaments and challenges, and you can also add different badges under your avatar. These badges are unlocked based on how many years you have been playing the game (Join Year), your Wild League Tier, or Champion Points. It is basically a trophy for your game experience.
This avatar shop and customization feature of Splinterlands has made the game much more personalized.
