Hi everyone, How are you? I hope everyone is well. Today I am taking about Rare Water/Fire Unit Sanctus Vicar . Sanctus Vicar from Splinterlands is a special type of Rare Dual-Element Unit, which can be used in Water and Fire Splinter at the same time. The biggest attraction of this card is its unique Cleanse Rearguard ability, which is able to remove the negative effects on allied units in the backline. This ability was added for the first time in Splinterlands through Sanctus Vicar. Today I will discuss this card Let's get started.

The most important ability of the Sanctus Vicar card is Cleanse Rearguard. And it cleanses the units at the end of your team that have Poison, Slow, Silence or other negative effects on them every round. As a result, the backline units can survive for a long time and maintain their effectiveness. And with this, Sanctus Vicar gets additional Cleanse ability at higher levels, which helps keep important units in the team free from Debuffs.

However, Sanctus Vicar is very effective in the "Noxious Fumes" type of Poison Ruleset for using Sanctus Vicar in battle. Because it can regularly remove the effects of Poison and keep your backline units alive for a long time. And if you have Taunt units in your backline, Sanctus Vicar helps tremendously in removing the Debuff caused by enemy attacks. As a result, the Taunt unit can survive for a longer time. Again, Ranged and Support Units are usually used more in Water Splinter. So Sanctus Vicar can easily find a place in the Water Team and provide important Support for the entire team.

And so my personal opinion about this card is that Sanctus Vicar is a card that may not seem very powerful at first glance, but in the hands of experienced players, it can change the outcome of the match. The card is excellent in these three areas: Debuff Removal, Poison Counter and Backline Protection. Those who like to use strategic Water or Fire Decks, it is definitely worth having Sanctus Vicar in their collection.
