Hi everyone, how are you? I hope everyone is doing well. Today I will discuss Magnificent Mollusk, a powerful Common Death Unit card from Splinterlands. Although it is a Common card, it is known as a very effective unit in high mana battles due to its extraordinary attack power and special skills. This card can be a great addition for those who like to play with Death Element. Let's start discussing this card.
Magnificent Mollusk is a high mana Ranged Attacker. Due to its 13 mana cost, it is usually used in High Mana Battle, where its huge damage output can change the course of the entire match. Again, the biggest strength of this card is its huge Ranged Damage. At high levels, it is capable of giving up to 7 Ranged Attacks, which can quickly destroy the opponent's important units. Sometimes, one hit is enough to break the opponent's strategy.
However, this card is not only about attacks, Magnificent Mollusk's Armor and Health are also quite good. As a result, it can survive in the back row for a long time and can continuously deal damage. And at high levels, this card gains the Demoralize ability. And reduces the Attack Power of all the opponent's Melee Units by 1. In addition, if the opponent uses a Melee-based team, then this ability significantly weakens their attack power.
As a strategy for using this card in battle, it can be said that it is not very effective to use it in Low Mana Battle due to its high mana cost. So its real power is revealed in the High Mana Ruleset, so use it there. However, when using it, place it behind a strong Tank because it is a Ranged Unit, so it may be difficult to attack if it comes to the front line. That is why it is the best strategy to place it behind a strong Tank. And use it against Melee Heavy Teams, because Magnificent Mollusk is especially effective against Melee-based teams due to its Demoralize ability.
And so my final opinion about this card is that Magnificent Mollusk is a Common Death Unit that is much stronger than its other cards. The combination of huge Ranged Damage, Demoralize and Apex Strike makes it one of the most dangerous Damage Dealers in High Mana Battles.
