Hi everyone, How are you? I hope everyone is well. Today I am taking about Splinterlands powerful Rare Fire unit Grove Doomblade.Grove Doomblade is an amazing Rare Fire unit, this card has quickly become popular for its huge Melee Damage, Sneak attack and powerful abilities available at later levels. Especially in high mana matches, it is a very effective card for destroying the opponent's backline. Let's discuss this card today.
Grove Doomblade's biggest strength is its high Melee Damage. As the level increases, its attack power becomes more terrifying and it can remove many support units from the field with one hit. And Grove Doomblade gets Sneak from level 1. As a result, it can attack the opponent's last line units from any position. It is ideal for destroying healers, ranged or magic units. Along with this, getting Fury at high levels can do double damage against units with Taunt. So it is very effective against Taunt-based strategies.
Although its Speed is only 1, many players see this as a weakness. But in the Reverse Speed Ruleset, this low speed becomes its biggest advantage. Then it gets the opportunity to attack quickly and put the opponent in danger. And this card can launch an attack before the battle starts by getting Ambush at the highest level. If Sneak and Ambush work together, the opponent's important units can be destroyed before the first round starts.
And so when using this card, if I think that Grove Doomblade belongs to the Elf Bloodline, using it with Kaylia Silverleaf gives additional advantages, especially powerful effects like Execute. And so Magmaforged's Pinpoint ability does not allow Sneak attacks to be missed. And it is one of the best companions to eliminate the problem of Grove Doomblade's low Speed.
