Hello, everyone on this noble platform and the Hive ecosystem at large. I am very excited to write and share this excellent article with you all, and I hope you guys will enjoy reading it as well. Today, I am writing this post as part of the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge, and it is an exciting one that I think you all will love.
In my first Splinterlands Social Media post, I shared with you how I purchased my Spellbook and my card rental journey right after buying the Spellbook. Today, I will share a fantastic battle that I hope you guys will like. After playing several battles and advancing to the bronze league, I understand that it is not as easy as it was when I used to play on the wood stage, where I was winning every battle that came my way.
The battle was a 25 mana battle, and I selected my team from the Earth Deck this time around, and not from the Death Deck. All six elements were active in the battle, and the ruleset was the Thorns, where all monsters' melee attacks return two damage. Mycelic Slipspawn monster was my first positioned card, and with its taunt ability, all my opponent's monsters attacked it first until it is eliminated from my team.
At the end of the first round, I was able to eliminate the Radiated Scorcher monster of my opponent, with my magic attack monsters, which gave me an advantage in winning the battle the more.
In the second round, I was able to eliminate two of my opponent's monsters at a go. The Psychic Goblin in my team was able to restore my Mycelic Slipspawn monster at every round, and this kept my monsters intact as before.
In the next round (third), I was able to eliminate one of the monsters from my opponent's position again without any being eliminated from my team. It was a very easy round for me, and I got the confidence that I was winning the battle because my opponent was left with range attacking monsters which can't attack at the first position.
In the last round and final round (round 4), my opponent was left with just one monster that could attack, and I was able to take it down very easily and with just a single attack from my healing monster (Psychic Goblin).
With my magic attacks, I could eliminate the Xenith Archer monster from his lineup and become victorious. Link
Thanks, everyone, for reading my post once again after a long break on Hive.
