In today's post the focus will be on improving the game in just 1 day, full of new features. Starting with Quora Towershead coming in my gladius case, then I upgraded the deck by adding some key cards that helped me get to gold for the first time. Still, we have the rewards of the day and the first gladius card to be upgraded. It's full of account improvement content, with tips and insights from each card, check it out to get some of this information.

The journey to reach gold was not easy, I had to constantly improve some cards to reach that level, because the opponents were, and still are, far above average with much stronger decks, using MAX level and also the most expensive Summoners like Possibulus or Immortalis, which makes it difficult to get past them, but over time they will rise and so will the people who stay a little behind.

Davemccoy | I want to thank @davemccoy who helped me with very valuable tips, opinions and information to improve key cards in the deck, and it was thanks to this help that I managed to reach gold. In addition to the many times he has helped me with tips, lately I was having difficulties, because I was playing, but I couldn't get past the barrier between Silver I and Gold III, that's when I asked Dave for help once again about cards. that I could improve and below is the conclusion I had from some key cards that Dave commented on.

• Disintegrator: Neutral, can use with all decks; Good with melee rulesets.
• Venator Kinjo: I can use it in blast matches, or to buff return damage or melee matches or low mana or to slow down the enemy. It gives to much flexibility at matches and it's also a Neutral card making it a good card to have as an option.
• Every-Hungry Skull: At first I thought the lvl with thorns was ok, but to use it at the back and also could use it against archers because it has return fire at lvl 10.
• Portal Spinner: Big damage with General Sloan, nice stats overall for the price.
• Lava Launcher: At max it gets 5 damage which could be nerfed by forcefield, but it's worth the risk to have it as a big damage and tanky option at the team and it's not always the oponent will use forcefield...

Soon after making the upgrades I started using the cards and in the first battles I had the opportunity to use the Disintegrator in a Sneak Ruleset alongside the Lava Launcher and thanks to both of them I had a victory that helped me get closer to gold. This objective was very important because when the season resets, instead of starting at the bottom of Silver III I will start a little higher.

It's worth mentioning that in addition to Dave, everyone in the Splinterlands community generally helps and collaborates with new players. Another example was @palasatenea who helped me find a guild to play, when I asked in the chat if anyone could help me join a guild.

Yesterday the rewards were even lower, $0.32 in total, with only 10.5x SPS in battles and chests, but the reason is that I had a lot of defeats, so it was difficult to earn the SPS. Gladius Case | I managed to collect the 2k merits with the results of the last brawl and I got some great cards from it. The main one was Quora, a card much loved by those who use it and much hated by those who play against it, especially when it starts stacking bloodlust. In addition to it, I also got a Gobson that I leveled and another copy of Orella Abadon, which I already used in the fire team with Tarsa and won, even though I was lvl 1. In addition to these, there were 2 other common x that I don't use much.

Quora Towershead | I think Quora is one of the most complete cards at Level 1, because looking at the evolutions it already has a very complete Kit from the start. It has two attacks with 2 damage, which prevents it from not dealing damage if the opponent has some resistance, it already has healing, it has a lot of HP and considerable speed (3), in other words, it is already playable at lvl 1. Of course, at Leveling her up will get better and better, gaining more HP and additional skills that will help.

I believe I may have been quite lucky in getting it, because I saw a recent post here at hive from someone who took a year to get a copy of it, thankfully mine when I started doing brawls and collecting merits came soon, making it possible to use it in matches from now on.

Gobson | In addition to Quora, the other news was my first upgrade of a gladius card. I managed to get Bertrol Gobson to LVL 2, which wasn't a big improvement, because the 1 attack he has is still too little to be used in battles competitively, because he will rarely finish a monster and activate blooslust. But going to lvl 2 he gains +1 speed and at lvl that is different, because he gains +1 attack and at lvl 6 he gains poison which then becomes a VERY viable option to play, but until then it will take time a little.

A jornada para chegar ao gold não foi fácil, tive que melhorar constantemente algumas cartas para chegar nessa nível, porque os oponentes estavam, e ainda estão, muito acima da média com decks bem mais fortes, usando MAX level e também os Summoners mais caros como Possibulus ou Immortalis, o que dificulta conseguir passar por eles, mas com o tempo eles vão subindo e a gente que fica um pouco para traz também.

Davemccoy | Quero deixar um agradecimento ao @davemccoy que me ajudou com dicas, opiniões e informações muito valiosas para melhorar cartas chave no deck, e foi graças a essa ajuda que consegui chegar no gold. Além das diversas vezes que ele já me ajudou com dicas, ultimamente eu estava com dificuldades, porque eu jogava, mas não conseguia passar da barreira entre o Prata I e o Gold III, foi então que eu pedi ajuda mais uma vez ao Dave sobre cartas que eu poderia melhorar e logo abaixo está a conclusão que eu tive de algumas cartas chave que o Dave comentou.

• Desintegrator: Neutra, pode usar com todos os decks; Bom com conjuntos de regras corpo a corpo.
• Venator Kinjo: Posso usá-lo em partidas de explosão, ou para buffar retorno de dano ou partidas corpo a corpo ou mana baixa ou para desacelerar o inimigo. Dá muita flexibilidade nas partidas e também é uma carta Neutra, o que a torna uma boa carta para se ter como opção.
• Every-Hungry Skull: A princípio achei que o lvl com espinhos estava ok, mas para usar nas costas e também poderia usar contra arqueiros pois tem retorno de fogo no lvl 10.

• Lava Launcher: No máximo ele recebe 5 de dano que poderia ser nerfado por campo de força, mas vale a pena arriscar tê-lo como uma opção de grande dano e tanque no time e nem sempre o oponente usará campo de força...

Logo depois de fazer os upgrades já comecei a usar as cartas e já nas primeiras batalhas tive a oportunidade de usar o Disintegrator em uma Ruleset de Sneak junto do Lava Launcher e graças aos dois tive uma vitória que me ajudou a chegar mais próximo do gold. Esse objetivo foi muito importante porque quando tiver o reset da season, em vez de começar no bottom do Silver III eu já vou startar um pouco mais acima.

Vale mencionar que além do Dave, toda a galera da comunidade do Splinterlands no geral ajuda e colabora com os novos jogadores. Um outro exemplo, foi a @palasatenea que me ajudou a encontrar um guild para jogar, assim que eu perguntei no chat se alguém poderia me ajudar a entrar em uma guild.

Ontem as recompensas foram ainda menores $0,32 no total, com apenas 10.5x SPS nas batalhas e baú, mas o motivo é que tive bastante derrotas, então complicou ganhar os SPS. Gladius Pack | Consegui juntar os 2k de merits com o resultado do último brawl e nele consegui ótimas cartas. A principal foi a Quora uma carta muito amada por quem a usa e muito odiada para quem joga contra, principalmente quando ela começa a stackar os bloodlust. Além dela, consegui também um Gobson que eu upei e mais uma cópia do Orella Abadon, que já usei no time de fire com a Tarsa e ganhei, mesmo estando lvl 1. Além desses, teve outros 2x communs que eu não uso muito.

Quora Towershead |Acho que a Quora é uma das cartas mais completas no Level 1, porque olhando as evoluções ela já tem um Kit bem completo já de início. Tem dois ataques com 2 de dano, o que previni de não dar dano caso o oponente tenha alguma resistência, já tem heal, tem bastante HP e uma speed considerável (3), ou seja, já é jogável no lvl 1. Claro que ao upar ela vai ficando cada vez melhor ganhando mais HP e habilidades adicionais que vão ajudar.

Acredito que eu possa ter tido bastante sorte em conseguir ela, porque vi um post recente aqui na hive de alguém que demorou um ano para conseguir uma cópia dela, ainda bem que a minha quando comecei a fazer os brawls e juntar os merits veio logo, possibilitando usar ela nas partidas a partir de agora.

Gobson | Além da Quora, a outra novidade foi o meu primeiro upgrade de uma carta gladius. Consegui colocar o Bertrol Gobson para o LVL 2, que não foi uma grande melhora, porque o 1 de ataque que ele tem, ainda é pouco para ser usado em batalhas competitivamente, porque ele raramente vai finalizar algum monstro e ativar o blooslust. Mas indo para lvl 2 ganhou +1 de speed e no lvl que tá a diferente, porque ele ganha +1 de ataque e no lvl 6 que ele ganha poison que aí sim vira uma opção BEM viável de se jogar, mas até lá vai demorar um pouco.
