To the surprise of players who took part in the Survival Mode bracket test event last season, the reward arrived at record speed this time around. I believe that since we are already on the third or fourth test event, what was once a novelty has likely been refined and streamlined, paving the way for even faster processing in the future.
This insight comes from listening to the Town Halls, where the team has expressed a desire to leverage existing developments rather than repeating the same work every time. I recall a Town Hall where someone asked about the arrival of bosses in Splinterlands; the response was that it wouldn't be difficult, as something similar—Battle Challenges—had already been implemented in Frontier.
That is why, for the first and second events, they had to manually verify players, analyze forms, and check matches to ensure everything ran smoothly—essentially establishing the verification workflows from scratch. Now, however, many of the participants are likely repeat players; consequently, much of the analysis has already been done, and the verification processes are already in place.
Focusing back on the event itself: for those who haven't participated yet, the Survival Mode Bracket Test Event is returning this season. To take part, simply play 250 matches in the Survival Mode brackets (any bracket from I to V counts) and maintain a win rate of at least 50% to earn 250k Glint; even with a lower win rate, you’ll still earn 100k. Just don't forget to fill out the form sent out near the end of the event. Don't miss the chance to earn this huge amount of Glint; even though it involves a lot of matches, the early ones are quite easy, and you can easily reach 100 wins. After that, just play a few matches a day at your own pace. You'll see what this reward can do for your deck right now!
I'll be much appreaciated if you Votes, Reblogs or give any Tips. Thanks and have good reading! 🍀
Now for the best cards obtained from the 250k Glint haul—and the highest Glint expenditure I've ever made—two legendary draws. Once again, luck was on my side, and I pulled two cards I didn't own yet. After buying the Rare cards, I had enough Glint left to grab these two; the plan was to get Alchemy Potions as well, but since I didn't have any, the game didn't ask if I wanted to use one. That’s how I got Kaori Matsune.
In my opinion, being a Neutral card with 2 magic damage, Snipe, and decent HP for just 5 mana makes her simply the best legendary overall; I’ve been using her a lot in Survival matches. I pulled a Regular Foil (RF) version, but it was perfect—it couldn't have been better, and I was really satisfied. The best combo is using her with Marlai Singariel, who grants +1 magic damage, bringing Kaori’s damage up to 3—enough to take out a large portion of opponents.
For those who own Kavor Skarn, there is also the option to use Kaori Matsune. Since he possesses Drakoshan's "Bloodline Dominion" ability—and Kaori belongs to that bloodline—she can always be fielded and gains +1 Speed for being a Neutral element card. One of the issues with Bloodline cards is precisely that not all elements are always available for use when a card's element differs from the Summoner's element.
After realizing my mistake regarding the potions, I immediately bought and used them to double my chances of pulling a Gold Foil card. I ended up getting another card I didn't have yet: Nessa. She is a 9-mana Avian with a very powerful 3-damage magic attack and the "True Strike" ability, ensuring the attack always lands.
She boasts a solid 6 HP, high Speed (4), and the "Flying" ability. She is an excellent card with high stats and good damage output right at Level 1. It is interesting to note that Common and Rare cards must be leveled up significantly just to approach the stats and damage of a card like Nessa. The Archon capable of summoning Avians isn't particularly useful for Nessa; Elowen only grants "Charge," which offers no benefit to a magic-user like her. ---
Finally, using the remaining Glint, I picked up a few "common draws." These were enough to upgrade the Surge Blade, giving it +1 Shield. The card is shaping up to be quite strong, boasting 4 Health, 4 Shield, a powerful attack, and decent speed. However, it will truly shine at the max level, when it gains the Blast ability and hits 4 melee damage.
I also leveled up the Grim Bonewhip to Level 7. It received a speed boost—bringing its base speed to 3—which effectively becomes 4 in battle thanks to the Swiftness ability. I believe the card offers most of its potential utility at this level; future upgrades will add extra attack, more HP, and eventually a damage-dealing ability. However, since its primary role is utility—providing speed and stripping away the opponent's shield—I think it's already at a great level.
I’m not focusing as much on Common cards anymore, mainly because we end up earning some in rank-up chests, and the odds of pulling Commons from chests are generally much higher than for other rarities.

Sending you some Ecency points. Please check your wallet.
Thank You!
Some time ago I got Nessa from chest!
Can be good synergy with Voss both are avians :)
That's true. The bloodline tributes will be a must in the future +1 everything...
Yes, but only avians with magic get +1 power
