The Battle

It was a quick but decisive victory. Our opponent didn't last it past the 10th round. It was a joint effort between a well placed team that got us the win. The mana cap was 31 with the battle grounds rules being Equalizer (The initial health of all units is equal to that of the unit on either team with the highest base health). Rentmoney's recent Splinterland activities

I haven't much time for battles or online activities over the past week or so. However I did manage to play a few battles just days ago and yet again today I made some time to collect a daily reward. I'm currently in Gold II so that means my daily reward for winning five battles earns me one Foundation pack and three draw entries. This win landed me on the lucky side of things as I also hit a GOLD Necrulencian Thief. A card that is currently listed for at least $3.50 and there is only one available at that price point. With only three level two's available on the market at current date (2026-07-19). A max copy of this card is currently listed at the price of $24.90 USD which equals to $6.225 per card count (CC).

Necrulencian Thief Lore:

Necrulencia sits at the delta of the Daltaine and De'lai Rivers, far enough from New Beluroc's throne that citizens might hope for freedom and close enough that the Cimmerian Order's reach finds them anyway. The surrounding farmlands yield ebon wheat and umbral barley. The mines produce precious ore. All of it flows to New Beluroc. The overlords demand quotas. Tax collectors take their share. Conscription officers take sons and daughters. What remains barely sustains those who grow and mine it.

So the Necrulencian thieves do what they must.

They're farmers whose land was seized. Miners whose wages were cut. Children of families broken by conscription. They start with simple theft. Skimming harvests, pilfering wagons, breaking into storehouses. But simple theft only goes so far.

Nightshade grows along the riverbanks. Blackrot fungi sprout in the mines. A scratch from a "clumsy" stumble, and the victim feels nothing but a sting. But soon, nausea, hallucinations, and unconsciousness follow. The thief pilfers what they're after, and it's often days or weeks before the victim realizes they were robbed. If they survive.

The thieves don't dwell on it. Guilt is a luxury for those with full bellies.
