SPS Delegations & Purchasing Some MAX Cards

## SPS Delegation
One of the aspects of earning with Splinterlands that I don't see many posts about is the fact players can earn through delegating our Staked SPS tokens. Before we go any further lets define what delegation is. The mechanics of delegation ensure that an owner of an asset retain full custody of their loaned assets. Meaning your private keys and crypto remain securely in your wallet. The Hive Blockchain utilizes such a feature with the chains main token known as the Hive Token (can be found in the wallet section). Splinterlands has multiple examples of utilizing delegation. The rental system comes to mind. Players can rent cards from different owners of said cards without a single card ever moving from anyone's wallet. The same is true for SPS. The Splinterlands team has built a dedicated SPS delegation market directly on the official Splinterlands site. Directly below this paragraph will be a screenshot of such. As seen in that screenshot the BID section is showing a return value of 2.93% while the BUY section is showing a return of 5.87% for delegated SPS. How quickly do these bids fill? To that I will say it all depends on what choice you make. If you are willing to delegate your SPS for 2.93% all you need to do is set an offer that requests just that. If there is a BID available your offer will almost instantly fill. Doing such is my action of choice when delegating. You can OFFER delegation for a higher percentage and wait to see if someone comes along to pick it up. To get to the correct section log in to Splinterlands > Click the SPS icon (top of page) > You are now in the SPS wallet section > Scroll to and click the MANAGE link within your SPS wallet > BAM you are now in the right place. Toggle the options to get to the template section you wish to utilize. OUTGOING shows your current active delegations. INCOMING shows active delegations you purchased. MARKET is where you see the order book (this is where you place bids or create an offer). MY RENTALS shows current and past rentals.

## Maxing Some Cards
Every so often I go through my collection and upgrade some cards. Here today we will be doing that. I grown found of the Foundation League so lets take a look at what cards I have that are near MAX. I do heavily focus on GOLD but I also like to MAX regular foils as well (lets take a look at those first). Looking at my collection I determined that I don't have any cards known as Agniavan Salamander which is a Legendary fire 8 mana card. It's Gold version is currently listed at the low price of $1.59 USD. It's regular foil version (level 2) is currently listed at the very affordable price of $0.09 USD. Today we will be picking up the regular foil version. Level 2 is the MAX for Legendary cards in the Frontier mode. Purchases can be made using Paypal or DEC. I decided to utilize the CREDITS I have. The total cost for this card was just 90 CREDITS. Lets check the Epics next. Looks like I don't have any Echelon cards which is an Epic Fire with the mana cost of 4. This one caught my eye because there is only two MAX copies on the market for sale. The first being available for $0.10 USD (reg foil). The second being valued at $0.38 USD. Now that we picked up a MAX Legendary and a MAX Epic it's now time to look at the Rare cards. As all good warriors within the Splinterverse know its always best to MAX our ARCHONS first. This time we will look at our GOLD Death Archon known as Thalgrimore. We already own two level 2's (min level for Rare Gold cards). That means we have to purchase two more gold variants of this card (Done and Done). We paid roughly $0.25 for each card using credits bringing our total cost of both purchases to 500 CREDITS (50 cents). As I make that purchase I realize that I actually do already have one MAXED. No biggie - I'm happy to have the extra cards. I also don't have a MAX Scales of Justice (GOLD) which is a RARE Unit. I see one listed for the low price of $0.10 so I'll add it to the collection. Moving on to the COMMON cards. I notice one of my favorite commons to utilize in battle isn't MAXED. This won't do -- lets max the card known as New Beluroc Aegis. The cost was just 120 CREDITS for the Gold variant.

### That's it for now
Our Splinterland purchases for the day has concluded. Over-all we are happy with the purchases we made here today. Although we did make a slight blunder with purchasing a card we already had maxed. We still have a few thousand CREDITS left in our wallet so our purchasing/ combining and window shopping aren't done yet. We are simply just done for the day. CREDITS can be purchased on the Splinterlands site using Paypal. Simply log in to the main Splinterlands site > click the CREDITS icon and you'll be in the right section. It really is that easy, just point and click (always check your values to make sure you entered them correctly and never click links from unverified sources). As always we here at the @rentmoney blog thank you for visiting us and we hope to see you at our next post (you are appreciated). The image problem also happened with me. That's really strange, do you know what's happening? Also I wanted to know which cards and amount of SPS I needed to play Splinterlands with the max efficiency. Do you have any posts/tips about it? Thanks.

I used the Ecency front-end for this post. I cropped - copied and pasted the images. I don't think their template for creating posts correctly accommodates for such.
