Let's Showcase Some Splinterland Lore

Splinterlands has many aspects to its Splinterverse and gaming is just one. Some of the others include: trading cards/ Investing and blog posting to name a few. The one I don't see mentioned allot is the LORE. Here today we would like to shine a light on some of that within this post. But what card shall we focus on and from what set? Today we decided to go with Chaos Legion. Which reminds me of the roaming CHAOS LEGION Pack that was in one of my Non Giveaway Post. It took awhile but it seems as that roaming Chaos Legion Pack finally found a new home. Congrats @blitzzzz it looks like the homeless CHAOS Legion Pack wondered your way. I have no clue why, it could of been your interaction (comment left), it could of been the fact you tagged others or it might of been the fact that you reblogged @rentmoney's post but then again maybe not. I do not pretend to understand the decisions of a wondering Chaos Legion Pack. Something tells me that pack should be showing up on your doorstep sometime in the next 24 hours.

What Is Splinterlands?

Splinterlands is a play2earn game hosted on the Hive Blockchain. NFT's that have real monetary value are used to earn rewards in a robust gaming economy that also have real monetary value. Such assets are tradable on-site or on many different secondary markets such as TribalDex and Hive-Engine. Don't have a Splinterlands account yet. Doctor Blight Current Trade Value

As we can see a level one Doctor Blight will run you at least $7.60 USD worth of credits or DEC (Dark Energy Crystals). As displayed by the screenshot above a Level 3 will run you $30.52 USD in trade. If you want more power and are after a Level 4 (Max Level) Doctor Blight the current (1/29/2025) asking price is $55.95 USD. The only Level Two I see listed on the official Splinterlands market has an asking price of $57.17 USD. This goes to show that if you are shopping in the markets its best to look at all options and not just the option you want. For example its possible your deck only requires a Level 2 Doctor Blight but if the cost of a Level 3 is more friendly then why not pick that one up instead? Extra benefits for the same price. It's not too often life tosses one such deals. We should jump all over them when opportunity allows.

Above we can see the 24hr sales volume of Chaos Legion Packs. In total there has been $354 USD or put another way 874 Hive Tokens worth of trades completed within the last 24hrs for the Splinterlands NFT Set known as CHAOS. Where is trading being done? On TribalDex of course (Hive-Engine). To me that is a healthy trade volume for a set that has been out of print for quite awhile. CHAOS is indeed alive and thriving within the Splinterverse. Looking at its trade for price of $0.35* USD I find it very hard not to ape into these and just start hulking out and filling my bags. However I have to be reasonable and I already own some thousands. For now my reasonable self is winning vs. my fill those bags self. I'm not sure that it will continue to do so if the HIVE Token spikes again and CHAOS becomes more cost friendly in Hive Tokens then they already are.
