I guess, I had already written about the strategy that can be used when we are playing the reckless ruleset, and playing the no attack monster and monster having taunt with good health and in a non-attacking position is one of the good options to be used. Since this is the ranked frontier battle , so options become really limited but still we have "New Beluroc Aegis" in frontier card sent and can be used. But along with reckless ruleset has "Ferocity" that means the card having taunt will suffer double damage. At this point, I decided that I will not be going with the taunt ability.

So I decided to use a melee monster "Port Guardian" in position 5, from where it cannot attack, and "Great Bear Druid" at the last position, just wondering this dual attack monster to be the last survivor in the battle. If you look closely, the use of Port Guardian is the only difference in the team created, Also my choice of position of "Great Bear Druid" is also a major change.

We both lost our tank in round 1 and both used the same monster as tank i.e Asel Alagosdil. Actually it is a good choice in frontier battles. With 5 monsters on both sides, the battle looks fairly balanced.

What was once looking like a fairly balanced battle in round 2 started looking as easy win for my opponent at the start of round 3 as my opponent has 4 monsters against the 1.

So it is an easy win for my opponent? Actually no, because here starts the thrill of reckless and dual attack, my opponents Water Logged Wizard attacked first and took down its own "Lunaki Howler" with it. My dual attack took opponents Saltwater Mage and Mystic Scaleweaver. So in the fourth round, it was 1 vs 1.

It is an interesting contest, and based on the position of the monsters the result of battle can swings at anyone favour and actually this aspect of the game does make the game interesting to play.
