Splinterland's last season went very well for me, and it exceeded my expectations. In the last season. I was able to reach the Silver 1 league in this season, and it was my first time for me in the Modern format after the introduction of the Conclave Arcana card decks in Modern format and Chaos Legion being rotated out of the Modern Format. Also, despite having a good deck of Chaos Legion cards, which helped me to reach the Diamond league, I decided to opt of Wild league and start building my deck in Modern Format.
Playing in the Modern comes with challenges to build the deck by investing in the new cards and I decided to build my deck by pack opening, purchasing cards from the market, and using my glint stash to buy the rewards cards and upgrading the level of the cards. I also know that I am not able to spend that much for max level decks, so I kept my expectation down to gold level and working towards the half max level deck. (Common lvl 5, rare level 4, Epic level 3 and legendary level 2). Also, it is very important to get a good amount of Glint because it helps me get reward cards to boost my collection.
This season, I claimed glint rewards of 50,034 Glint, so it means I earned total of 100068 Glint this season. Last season this was below 91K Glints and before it, it was close to 71K Glints. So I see, I have much improved my Glint earning capabilities. I am not sure if I am able to do it or not, but able to earn 200K Glints per season is my next goal along with the reaching gold league.
As far as season rankings are concerned, I was able to reach the ranking of 77 , just 2 to 3 days before the season end. I ended season with 115 ranking and had 1540 ranking points. When I checked leaderboards, player at 100 rank has 1620 rating points. So it look like if I end current season around 1700, I will might land in the top 100 and at least get 3125 Glints as rewards.
So in this season, my goals are clear and are as below.
Earn 100k+ Glint.
Try to end sesason in 1700+ rating points. (that already acheive the goal of reaching Silver 1.)
