So in the last season, I reached the Gold league when there was just one day left for the season end, and it was the very first first time that I reached the Gold 3 league. Once I reached the Gold 3 league last time, I did not played any further battles so that I could start on the higher league (Silver 2) in the current season and can again reach the Gold league in this season 2. With 6 days to spare and I have reached the Gold 3 league, so I can say that my target is comfortably met.
One of my reasons for being in the Gold league is to have accumulation of more and more Glints. If you see that this specific battle yielded me 470 Glints but this is on much higher side. I observed that being in Silver 2 and above league, I am getting a minimum of 250+ Glints per battle and on average I get 300 Glints per battle win. Having Glint stash can solve 2 purpose for me, as in current situation I do not have rewards Legendary and epic card (Level 3 and level 2) though my summoners now can support them too. Actually, either I can either upgrade by using Glint or buy them from the market. Since I am buying the core cards and Archons, so spending money on cards that can be purchased using Glint is out of equation for me. Also, if I can have a stash of Glint, I also foresee that if a new reward set is launched than I can have some extra money by selling these rewards cards. I can confidently say though Glint is non transferable asset but having it still has value otherwise players will not be burning SPS for boosted Glint payments.
So I have unlocked Gold 3 league, and the good thing is that I am still able to survive the battles in Gold 3 league, as I am currently at 1960 points at the time of writing this post so it is not like that touching the Gold league and then fall back to the Silver. It is really interesting for me to see , If I will be able to close this season in the gold league or not. With this sucess, I am wondering that id in next 6 days, could I reach Gold 2 also?
I have unlocked the rewards/loot chest and got the following rewards.
So I have got 3 rare cards and 5 common cards, along with some merit and 5 legandary potions. Entry to the draw is not useful to me as I do not not take part in lucky draws as it requires 150 DEC fortune pass to participate.
With one of the Goal (reaching Gold league) is accomplished, I am now wondering when I will accomplish goal of 100K Glints this season or will I be able to surpass the benchmark of earning 121822 Glints this season.
Hoping for best in the rest of season too, let see how it's end.
