Good morning everyone, depending where in the world you are of course... I hope you're having a great weekend so far, it's a Sunday morning for me and I was grinding my ranked battles which is quite a lot of work, trying to keep two accounts energy below 50 manually! 😅
So then I remember my friend @estebam telling me @thepeoplesguild launched a new challenge, so let's go!

The Challenge
Your task is to come up with creative and practical ideas for how the DAO could leverage these assets. Whether your idea focuses on player rewards, community events, economic stimulation, or long-term strategic planning, we want to hear it!

And this is another difficult topic for sure, because there's A LOT of packs in the DAO's treasury, I think I read somewhere it's in the 800k but I can't remember where to fact check that...

Here is the problem: we as a community don't want to flood the market with these packs because it WILL devalue the other packs and negatively influence the previous buyers and holder of existing Rebellion packs.
At the same time it's cool to make promotion activities to attract new players and reward existing players for their efforts to take part in the game or spread the word about Splinterlands out side of hive, because it's great we talk about it here, but it's like preaching to your own church, most people in hive already knows about splinterlands, whether they like it or not is a whole different topic, let's not talk about that in this post. 😇

With at the moment less than 300k packs being available to buy from the Splinterlands store and the unsold packs being burned daily, we have only less than two weeks left I believe to buy packs that way so they will get desirable after they're no longer for sale the normal way.

So, how to spread them, creating hype and noise to attract and reward players?

Brawl rewards

I think it's a cool idea to give them to the top 3 guilds for every brawl, this rewards all active players with large enough decks (the players who rent or invest to be competitive) across all tiers.

League promotion

Include (a chance) for packs up on league promotions, and not between leagues, but to a whole new league, for example from Silver to Gold or from Bronze to Silver, this again rewards all active players and should only be given in the Modern league.

Reward active members in the X-Community

Making enough noise is very important in the game so making some kind of Social Media Challenge to make as much noise as possible outside of hive so splinterlands is hard to get around at some point. This can be in a give away form of some kind.

Christmas Spellbook bonus

In the holidays people have more spare time, maybe it's a cool idea to give new Spellbook purchases 1 Rebellion pack as a welcome bonus, it's great fun to open packs, new players can immediately experience it this way.

Extra reward for posting the splinterlands challenges on multiple platforms outside of hive

The weekly splinterlands challenges are already pretty cool, I some players 'only' post on X and inside hive though, one of the other platforms to share is Publish0x to be more visible, your post there only earns a couple of cents but that's not the most important thing, it's visibility!
I'm sure there are more platforms we can spread the word on about splinterlands, we could for example reward users who post their blogs to three or more platforms outside hive with (a chance) at a Rebellion pack on top of the normal chance for upvotes.

Include packs in to chests

Just like in the old days, pulling Chaos Legion packs was a pretty cool thing! The chance to pull them can be really low but it will be cool anyway.

Creating revenue for the DAO is a hard thing I think, because you need to sell them, and this can flood the market too fast, or the sale has to happen really slow.

Well, these are my 2 cents, I think it would be cool to get them as a reward for activity on different subject within the splinterverse! 😍
