Hello everyone and welcome back to my splinterlands blog, it's time to make the third post for the #TPG Challenge - Dominion, in part one we got the task to come up with new abilities, in part two we made three new cards using these abilities, and now in part three we need to make three more cards which is pretty cool because now I can use what I learned last time when working with the pictures and my photo editing program!
To find out how you can participate in the challenge yourself, check out the original TPG post here.
Your task is to design three unique Dominion cards:
2 Rare cards
1 Epic card
No overlapping splinters: Each card should represent a different splinter, showcasing the diversity of the Dominion set. This includes any elements you used in Part 2 of the series!
Integrate the new abilities from Part 1: Make use of the element-specific abilities crafted in the previous challenge.
In part two, I made three cards for the Water, Dragon and Fire splinters, so I couldn't use these anymore... I present to you:
Splinter: Life
Type: Magic Attack, Support
Rarity: Epic
Mana Cost: 6
Stats
Magic Attack: 2
Speed: 3
Health: 6
Armor: 2
Abilities:
Blessing of the Grove:
When a Domineer makes a kill, all allied monsters heal for 1 health over the next 2 rounds.
The Life element rewards successful combat with renewal and growth. This healing ability keeps the team sustained during prolonged battles.
Flying:
Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.
Seraphine is a versatile support card, ideal for healing and protecting her team while providing incremental health recovery. Her Blessing of the Grove ability ensures that she contributes to the team’s survivability each time kills.
Splinter: Death
Type: Magic Attack
Rarity: Rare
Mana Cost: 7
Stats
Magic Attack: 3
Speed: 2
Health: 8
Abilities:
Haunting: When a Domineer is killed, all enemies lose 2 health at the start of the next round, reflecting the lingering presence of Death even after a Domineer falls.
Life Leech: Monster's health increases each time it damages an enemy Monster's health in proportion to the damage dealt
Grimshade Phantom excels as a mid or backline magic damage dealer, focusing on weakening the enemy team’s ability to sustain itself. Its Haunting ability ensures that, even when defeated, it delivers a lingering impact on all enemies. This can create a significant advantage for Death teams looking to wear down enemy ranks over time. The use of Life Leech makes it ideal for slowly gaining more health so it is at a large number when it gets to the first position.
Splinter: Earth
Type: Melee Attack, Tank
Rarity: Rare
Mana Cost: 9
Stats
Melee Attack: 4
Speed: 1
Health: 12
Armor: 4
Abilities:
Rooted Defense: If an allied Domineer dies, the team receives +1 to both armor and health for 2 rounds, showing Earth’s resilience and the idea that nature strengthens when it’s under threat.
Repair: Restores some armor to the friendly monster whose armor has taken the most damage.
Verdant Colossus is an excellent front-line tank, best suited for teams needing durability and defensive boosts. Its Rooted Defense ability ensures that when it's killed, all allies gain extra armor and health, creating synergy in defensive, armor-focused compositions. Its high health and armor make it highly resilient, able to absorb heavy damage while enhancing the team’s defense.
Again this was a fun challenge, thanks for that @thepeoplesguild! The card making process is very time consuming but fun, and I keep learning new things this way with editing and using different AI tools for the images.

Have a great day!
Good job making it through the end of the challenge! Haunting was like Redemption but was a delayed effect.
Another beautiful submission, Nozem! Thanks for always taking part in the TPG Challenge dude!
Thanks for making them - it's been a pleasure!
