Yesterday, while grinding my battles I turned off liquidity bots because I felt they often have cards I can't afford and the Dragon spam from Division 3 is brutal so I'll rather wait a minute longer to fight real human opponents, of course most of them are experienced and skilled players with strong decks too like @hungrymammoth, I faced this player two times in a row and in the first fight I was beaten fair and square, using Phase Ward on Azhar Ibn Sulaim, the already fast Taunt unit in the red team and a very fast tank, while healing it with Corrupted Healing. I was surprised I was able to kill the Taunt quite fast but I didn't have the same luck with the tank so that was a nice victory for HungryMammoth, well done!

The very next fight, I was once again facing off against the same player and I had a feeling they would pull the same trick on me again...

This time, Commander Slade received the Phase ability but I came prepared by bringing Risqruel Drath, using the True Strike ability and bringing two units with the Affliction ability to stop the healing, hopefully it's enough!

Because of my Archon, my entire team has the Flying ability, nice for Earthquake matches and to have a better chance in evading attacks but the last unit on the enemy team has the Wingbreak ability, dealing two extra damage against flying units...

Commander Slade, with only 2 HP and no armor left would follow soon but my own tank was also about to be killed.
Rage arrived to the front and got hit by Swell Spore Beast, Afflicting it so it could no longer be healed.

Rush Townsend killed Rage, but my Lord Thanalor was also really low on HP which was basically my last line of real defense, only soft targets behind him... things are getting interesting now!

Ballista Headshot cleared the Bloodlust on the Wood Troll using Dispel, it's one of these abilities I forget they exist but sometimes help a lot. Jicarilla got afflicted as well and soon after got killed, leaving the Wood Troll all out alone, unable to fire from the first position.

That was an interesting battle and I got even with HungryMammoth, but I fear when we meet again that Mancer will come back and kick my ass again for some sweet revenge... 😅
You can watch this battle unfold for yourself here.
For some reason I feel this season is harder than last season, my win rate is 61% so it's still higher than by the end of last season but when time passes and ratings goes up... we all know what that means 😏

Have a great day!

I love the strategy,Silverleaf Mage with poison burst after it was killed was a game changer and the +5 magic attack and dispel from Ballista Deadshot finish the game off. Nice one warrior
Yeah the poison so early in the fight can change the outcome of the battle. You did well yourself too, with Tofu against me, I knew you were going to play Tofu but your team was too strong anyway, well done!
I completely agree with you 💯. When I saw the lineup and there was no monster from your end pressuring my damage dealer, Nephket with its stun and knockout abilities,I knew it was going to be tough.
Thank you for the support and the kind words 🙏.
