Comparing performance: XBot vs. Archmage

Now XBot changed it's billing system and it takes 30% of the earned SPS per win I was wondering if Archmage would do any better, after all... Archmage charges 35% of the earned SPS but if it was able to win more, in the end I would earn a little more SPS every season.

Performance is probably different for every account because it all comes down to the cards in your deck but sometimes you just have to test things, like I did last week with renting additional SPS and I post about it so others can benefit from my tests as well.

So, my idea started with this number after 7 days in the season, XBot was playing my account with a win rate of 47.95%

Xbot no longer requires a token to be used, but just needs the 30% delegation to the Splinterbank account for the SPS rewards, Archmage does still have the tokens and I have the normal cheaper Archmage token, requiring a 35% delegation for SPS rewards and because I already owned the token and it was doing absolutely nothing, I set up Archmage, adjusted delegation rewards and for the second week in the season, it played my account.

There's something to be said about my way of testing because the second week in the season maybe is a little bit harder to win, getting higher in rating but even comparing two entire seasons probably wouldn't be the same.

After my test, I've set my account back up for XBot to play it next season because the difference is really small.

Chat GPT also agreed Xbot is the better option.

So, if this is the same for your accounts may vary depending on your deck and if you already have the Archmage token but at least now you know 😊
