The Anemic ruleset is a problematic one, because it lowers the Health Points of EVERY unit to only four, experienced Splinterlands players can immediately tell you some of the most important abilities you should start your line up with... right?
The first one that comes to my mind is definitely Void Armor to get some additional Health Points in, and the second one is the Scavenge ability, preferably put this unit somewhere in the back so it can scavenge as many HP as possible!
Usually my go to team for this is the Death team, because it has a couple of units with Void Armor and also an awesome healer with the Scavenge ability, Arachne Weaver... but there was one problem with that for this fight... those units are all Epic or Legendary and because the ruleset combination for this fight is Rise of the Commons / Anemic, I couldn't go with that strategy.

Going heavy on magic can definitely pay off with having to only get through four Health Points per unit, this season I'm getting destroyed by the liquidity bots using all these awesome archons I don't have, Lorkus... Mancer... Elowen... Nidhogr.... 😒
So, for this fight I came up with another idea: using Slade to hit fast and hard to hopefully get through the frontline fast while using some Void Armor combined with two units with the Repair ability to sustain them, but when facing a lot of magic there was a good possibility my own frontline would fail quite fast so I used Silver Shield Sentry as a fail safe, once it gets to the front it would gain 8 HP with the Bulwark ability, protecting the rest of my team.

It didn't help there was a unit with the Rust ability in the other team, lowering Slade's Armored Strike and they also had a unit with Weaken lowering my HP from 4 to 3.... not the best start!

Slade was fast in wiping out the enemy tank but then my own frontline was wiped out even faster, ooh yikes!

Slade got killed real fast, and the Silver Shield Sentry got to the front, in only the half of round 1 I needed my fail safe!

The 9 Armor and 11 Health Points is pretty nice though, I don't think there ever was a situation this was so welcome!

The sole job for the Sentry was delaying and soaking up damage while my rear was getting the damage in while repairing the Sentry's armor...
Once the enemy magic attackers got killed, I knew I was safe with two units repairing armor.

Silver Shield Sentry really saved this battle for me, it's a unit I don't use very often but this shows it's a nice addition to the team and a great option to remember in Anemic battles.
