Restarting from Zero: New Card Skin Reward & Lessons from a Frontier Ranked Defeat

Hope you all are fine and enjoying the game to the fullest. Today I have again brought the story of my fresh Splinterlands journey. In the gaming world, every day is not of "winning", sometimes defeat also teaches you a lot and my day today was something like this!

Daily Streak: Restart from zero!

Today as soon as I opened the game, I saw that my daily streak had reset and gone to "zero". Maintaining the continuity of daily login is necessary for good bonuses, so there was definitely a little regret. By the way, I was away from the game myself.

But the good thing is that I still had the "Active Streak Shield" present and I still need 2 more days to get the Spark Bonus. 1,540 gems are present in the wallet, and now my goal is just this to take the streak back to heights without taking a day off.

The sorrow of the streak breaking turned into happiness at that time when I got a great skin from the daily reward "Wild Horse Tamer Traveling Bazaar Skin"!

The artwork of this skin, the warrior look of the centaur and the vibrant colors are worth seeing. Customizing cards and fighting has its own fun, and after getting this skin I became even more excited to step into the field. But, still maybe I will need more time in learning the game.

Frontier Ranked Battle: Tough competition and a bitter defeat!

With new excitement and passion, I stepped straight into the field of Frontier Ranked. This was Round 1 and the mana limit was 24.

My match happened with opponent INITIATE_248045. According to my understanding, I had made a balanced combination of defense and attack; kept a strong tank on the front so it could stop consecutive strikes of the opponent and gave place to attackers in the back ranks. But unfortunately, the opponent's speed and strategy proved heavy on me.

The opponent selected the Death Summoner "Thaddius Brood" which blew away -1 health of my monsters as soon as Round 1 started. His front tank proved to be "Cursed Windeku", which had 3 shields, 5 health and above all the dangerous "Thorns" ability. As soon as my tank attacked him, the counter-strikes of Thorns and the speed of the opponent's remaining attackers shattered my defense in just a few moments.

Result and your opinion:

Winning and losing is part of the game, the real thing is to continuously learn and move forward. How did you like my new card skin? And in 24 mana rules what change in your opinion should I have made in my lineup so that the result of this match was different?
