Gladius + Modern Water Deck Guide for everyone! [ESP-ENG]

Mi ultima brawl fue un éxito y también los méritos que gané, Mejor aun fue el pack Gladius que abrí con esos méritos porque no solo obtuve una nueva copia de Quora Towershead si no que me salió mi primera Gladius legendaria: Flagulon Reine.
Asi que pensé que era un gran momento para continuar esta serie de post sobre consejos para las brawls pensando en el nuevo formato Modern y basado en el Splinter Agua. ¿Están listos? vamos con el post.

My last brawl was a success and so were the merits I earned. Even better was the Gladius pack I opened with those merits because not only did I get a new copy of Quora Towershead but I also got my first legendary Gladius: Flagulon Reine.
So I thought it was a great moment to continue this series of posts about brawl tips thinking about the new Modern format and based on Splinter Water. Are you ready? let's go with the post.

¿Que son los packs Gladius?
Las Gladius son una edición de cartas que solo se pueden usar en las Brawls, estas solo se pueden poseer, osea, no pueden ser vendidas ni delegadas, aunque si se pueden quemar. Su importancia radica en dos puntos, el primero es que son muy poderosas y el segundo es que aumentan nuestro CP, estos packs se compran con Méritos, que son puntos que obtenemos en las Brawls según la posición en la que terminemos. Tienen un costo de 2000 puntos de Merito y sus parámetros de apertura son los mismos que de otros packs, es decir una carta rara o mejor asegurada, con las mismas probabilidades de legendarias o doradas.

What are the Gladius Cases?
The Gladius case cards are an special edition of cards in Splinterlands that can only be used in the Brawls, these can only be possessed, that is to say, they cannot be sold in any market or delegated, although they can be burned. Their importance lies in two points, the first is that they are very powerful to play and the second is that they increase our CP, these packs are bought with Merits, which are points that we get in the Brawls according to the position in which we finish. They have a cost of 2000 Merit points and their opening parameters are the same as other packs, that is to say a rare card or better insured, with the same probabilities of legendary or gold Foil.

Deck de Agua + Gladius.
Este post ira enfocado directamente a como combinar las Gladius de Agua con el mazo Modern, asi que dare por hecho que ya has visto mi post sobre formato Modern para Agua y si no es asi, haciendo click a la imagen de arriba lo puedes ver.
Las Gladius de agua hasta el momento son seis. 2 Comunes, 2 Raras, 1 Epica y 1 Legendaria:
Water Deck + Gladius.
This post will focus directly on how to combine the Water Gladius with the Modern deck and not the Modern deck itself, so I will assume that you have already seen my post on Modern format for Water and if not, by clicking on the image above you can see it.
The Water Gladius Edition so far are six differents cards. 2 Common, 2 Rare, 1 Epic and 1 Legendary:
Voy a analizarlas por separado, cual es su funcionamiento en cada tipo de brawl entre Bronce, Plata y Oro, mas arriba de eso creo que ya tendras experiencia mas que suficiente para analizar por ti mismo como utilizar estas cartas, tambien en que tipo de batallas funcionan mejor y con que cartas combinan ¡Asi que vamos!
I will analyze each one of them separately, what is their performance in each type of brawl between Bronze, Silver and Gold, above that I think you will already have more than enough experience to analyze for yourself how to use these cards, also in what type of battles they work best and what cards they combine with, so come on!
Alva the Crusher
Esta carta es tremenda porque tiene la habilidad Shield, eso combinado con los buff de Kelya la vuelven muy peligrosa especialmente en batallas de Solo Melee. a Nivel 5 (Plata) aprendera Retaliate que junto a su otra habilidad Shield, la volveran un tanque espectacular y ya en nivel 9 aprende Aturdir. ¿Ya imaginaste esa combinacion? Recibe poco daño, puede devolver ataques cuando recibe ese daño y ademas puede aturdir al enemigo, todo eso acompañado por un bonito escudo, un gran ataque y una muy buena vida. Perfecta para combinarla con cartas como:
- Disintegrator
- Scavo Hireling
- 10 CP
Alva the Crusher
This Alva The Crusher is tremendous because she has the Shield ability, that combined with Kelya's buffs make her very dangerous especially in Melee Solo battles. At level 5 (Silver) she will learn Retaliate that together with her other Shield ability, will make her a spectacular tank and at level 9 she learns Stun. Can you imagine that combination? She takes little damage, can return attacks when she takes damage and can also stun the enemy, all this accompanied by a nice shield, a great attack and a very good health. Perfect to combine with cards such as:
- Disintegrator
- Scavo Hireling
- 500 CP
Isgald Vorst.
Otra carta con Ataque Melee que se beneficia mucho con Kelya mas que todo, por la velocidad y el escudo. Desde nivel 1 ya tiene dos puntos de ataque con Oportunity, una sorpresa grata para batallas con mana bajo pudiendo asi activar su Bloodlust muy rapido. Apenas sube a nivel 2 y ya aumenta su ataque a tres puntos haciendola aun mas peligrosa, en nivel 6 (Oro) aprende Piercing con lo que hará daño a traves del escudo, de nuevo en batallas con solo Melee esta carta funciona excelente desde la segunda linea. Perfecta para usarla con cartas como:
- Disintegrator.
- Serpent Of Eld.
- Deeplurker.
- 10 CP
Isgald Vorst.
Another common card with Melee Attack that benefits a lot from Kelya's speed and shield. From level 1 he already has two attack points with Opportunity, a pleasant surprise for battles with low mana, being able to activate his Bloodlust very fast. As soon as she rises to level 2 and already increases her attack to three points making her even more dangerous, at level 6 (Gold) she learns Piercing with which she will do damage through the shield, again in battles with only Melee this card works excellent from the second line. Perfect for use with cards like:
- Disintegrator.
- Serpent Of Eld.
- Deeplurker.
- 500 CP
Alfredo.
La primera carta rara y la primera con ataque a distancia, Alfredo esta hecho para peleas con mana muy bajo, cuenta con mucha vida para apenas 2 puntos de mana y su velocidad no es muy buena pero se potencia con Kelya en tu equipo, desde nivel 5 aprende Close Range que la convierte en una opcion excelente para colocarla desde lo mas atras posible y que vaya activando su Bloodlust y llegue muy fuerte a la primera posicion, en nivel 8 aprende True Strike con lo que no podrá fallar ataques.
Una carta con Taunt seria buenisima para asi evitar lo mas posible que esta carta reciba ataques enemigos y active su buff.

Alfredo.
The first rare card of this list and the first with ranged attack, Alfredo is a card made for fights with very low or low mana (or Equalizer), has a lot of life for only 2 points of mana and his speed is not very good but it is enhanced with Kelya in your team, from level 5 learns Close Range which makes it an excellent option to place it from as far back as possible and go activating his Bloodlust and get very strong to the first position, at level 8 learns True Strike so you can not miss attacks.
A card with Taunt would be great to avoid as much as possible that this card receives enemy attacks and activate its buff.

Relenor Cleaver
Empezamos a hablar de los pesos pesados de este mazo Gladius. Relenor cuesta mucho mana, asi que piensa en el en batallas con 35 o mas puntos, pero eso lo compensa con un terrible ataque de 4 puntos en apenas nivel 1 y ademas con la habilidad Reach y un escudo de 7. En nivel 5 aprende Ispire por lo que seria espectacular para usarlo con una alineacion Full Melee junto a cartas como Serpent of Eld, Deeplurker y el poderoso Pelacor Bandit. Como esta carta llegue a matar a un monstruo enemigo la partida se inclinara muchisimo a tu favor.

Relenor Cleaver
Let's start talking about the heavyweights of this Gladius deck. Relenor is a Rare card that costs a lot of mana, 9 points! so think of him in battles with 35 or more mana points at least... but he makes up for it with a terrible 4 Melee points attack at just level 1 and also with the Reach ability and a 7 points of shield. At level 5 he learns Ispire so he would be spectacular to use with a Full Melee lineup along with cards like Serpent of Eld, Deeplurker and the powerful Pelacor Bandit. As this card gets to kill an enemy monster the game will tilt a lot in your favor.

Edith Emberstar.
La unica Gladius Epica de Agua, Edith tambien cuesta mucho mana y a nivel 1 la verdad es que no es tan atractiva, aunque eso no significa que sea mala carta, tiene 4 puntos de ataque a distancia y con Kelya se potencia la velocidad y gana escudo, en nivel 3 aprende Cleanse y en nivel 5 aprende Strengthen, por lo que podemos deducir que es una carta que esta hecha para apoyar al tanque pero tambien para hacer mucho daño desde la retaguardia. De nuevo una carta con Taunt seria perfecta y tambien cartas con ataque magico como Djinn Oshannus, que debiliten a los rivales para que Edith dé el golpe final y active su Bloodlust y se vuelva asi la pesadilla de cualquier enemigo.

Edith Emberstar.
The only Epic Gladius among the Water Splinter so far, Edith also costs a lot of mana and at level 1 the truth is that it is not so attractive, although that does not mean it is a bad card, it has 4 points of ranged attack and with Kelya it boosts speed and gains shield, at level 3 it learns Cleanse and at level 5 it learns Strengthen, so we can deduce that it is a card that is made to support the tank but also to do a lot of damage from the rear. Again a card with Taunt would be perfect and also cards with magic attack as Djinn Oshannus, which weaken the opponents so that Edith gives the final blow and activates her Bloodlust and thus becomes the nightmare of any enemy.

Flagulon Reine
Es la unica carta legendaria del set Gladius para este Splinter y la unica con daño magico. Ademas que es tambien mi ultima gran carta Gladius, Flagulon tiene 2 puntos de daño magico y 6 de vida para un costo de mana de 6 puntos, desde el nivel 1 tiene la habilidad Blast, en nivel 2 aprende Shatter y en nivel 3 aprende Knock Out. El potencial de esta carta es gigantesco por el Blast, vas a estar haciendo daño a 2 oponentes por cada ataque asi que la oportunidad de matar a uno y activar el Bloodlust es el doble de lo normal, aparte por tener daño magico ya de entrada ignora los escudos enemigos y tambien podemos colocarla en la segunda linea bien resguardada sin miedo a que la ataquen, Baajkira + Kelya es una combinacion buenisima para usar con esta carta asi la haces mas veloz y ralentizas al enemigo, ayudandola a atacar mas rapido, la idea con Flagulon es buscar que sea el quien acabe con la mayor cantidad posible de enemigos para que se haga indestructible.

Flagulon Reine
It is the only legendary card among the Gladius set for this Water Splinter and the only one with magic damage. It is also my last great Gladius card, Flagulon Reine has 2 points of magic damage and 6 life points for a mana cost of 6 points, from level 1 it has the Blast ability besides the Bloodlust, at level 2 it learns Shatter and at level 3 it learns Knock Out. The really potential on battle for this card is gigantic because of the Blast ability, you will be doing damage to 2 opponents for each attack so the chance to kill one and activate the Bloodlust is double the normal, besides having magic damage and ignores the enemy shields and we can also place it in the second line well protected without fear of being attacked, Baajkira + Kelya is a great combination to use with this card so you make her faster and slow down the enemy, helping her to attack faster, the idea with Flagulon is to make him the one who kills as many enemies as possible to become indestructible.

Estas son solo estrategias base, recuerda que puedes combinar tambien las cartas Neutrales lo que amplia mas las posibilidades a utilizar, ademas en las batallas entran ciertas reglas aleatorias que nos obligan a tener que analizar, como dije al principio no es solo poner las cartas y ya, es saber analizar los rulesets, el mana, los posibles mazos oponentes, las cartas que tienes y el nivel en el que las tienes, conforme vas avanzando en este juego te vas dando cuenta de que es todo un arte lo que hay detras de unas simples tarjetas NFT.
