Explaining Campaign Mode and My Journey in Chapter 2

This is the continuation of my Campaign Mode saga in Splinterlands. Campaign Mode currently has two books, but only one is available to play, and that book is Waur Medge Academy (Every great Battle Mage starts somewhere).

In my previous post about Campaign Mode, I completed Chapter 1 (Prologue Part 1 - Journey to Waur Medge). You can read about it and the tips I gave through this link: Explaining Campaign Mode and the Glint Shop in Splinterlands.

I'm currently on Chapter 2, and that's what I'll cover in this post. Chapter 2 is called Prologue Part 2 - Arrival at Waur Medge. Come join me on this brief and fun journey.

If you don't know how to access Campaign Mode in Splinterlands, it's quite simple. Just log in with your account on the game's website and find the Play option in the top left corner of the screen.

After clicking Play, you'll have several options, one of which is Campaign Mode (it's the second option).

You'll be redirected to a page with the Campaign Mode books. As I mentioned before, only the first book is available, and the second will be available soon.

After accessing the Waur Medge Academy book, you'll find 17 chapters to complete, which will provide you with knowledge and rewards.

Now let's begin our journey through Chapter 2 - Arrival at Waur Medge. Don't forget to turn on the sound on your device.

(A quick comment from me: I'm loving Campaign Mode; the art is great and the story is fun).

After the nasty comments against our beloved blue-haired character, we're directed to battle.

Just like in Chapter 1, you'll have the option to choose the Dread Tafarian as your ally monster and send it to the battlefield, but unfortunately, your opponent has more monsters, and you're easily defeated.

After your defeat, another short cutscene appears, and soon after, Chapter 2 is completed, and you can receive your reward.

The reward for Chapter 2 is 50 Glint.

This amount of Glint is small, and you can't buy many things in the shop with it, but the main focus of Book 1 is to teach players about the battles and also entertain them with a story.

In Chapter 3, the rewards start to get interesting because you'll receive letters as rewards, and they are very useful on your journey in Splinterlands, especially if you're a new player.

  • An important detail is that you can always replay chapters, so if you found the story interesting and at some point in the future feel like watching it again, you can do so whenever you want. Also, don't worry if something unexpected happens and you disconnect from the game during Campaign Mode, because you can complete the chapter again.

  • You only receive chapter rewards once.

After completing Chapter 2, Chapter 3 is unlocked, and you can complete it if you wish.

Each chapter is short, so it won't take long to complete. If you're only focused on the rewards, you can use the Skip option during the cutscenes and jump directly to the battles.

As I mentioned in my previous post about Campaign Mode, you can purchase items using Glint, just go to Gwen's Glint Shop.

To access Gwen's Glint Shop, it's simple: go to the top left corner of your screen and click on the Shop option.

After clicking on Shop, several options will appear, Gwen's Glint Shop is the Rewards option.

In Gwen's Glint Shop, you can spend your Glint on various options, such as purchasing card draws, chests that give various prizes (including jackpots), energy, merits, potions, and titles.

In this post: Explaining Campaign Mode and the Glint Shop in Splinterlands, I explain more about the options at Gwen's Glint Shop.

This was my post about Chapter 2 of Book 1 - Waur Medge Academy in Campaign Mode. I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading, and I'll see you in my next post.
