Hi Splinterlands players. Today I'll explain how to participate in Tournaments in the game, so join me on this brief journey of learning.
If you're new to Splinterlands, you might not be familiar with this in-game option, but I have no doubt you'll want to learn about it because you can earn great rewards by participating in Tournaments.
To get started, you need to log in to your Splinterlands account. After logging in, just click Play in the top left corner of the website.
Go to the Tournaments option and you'll be directed to the page that shows the Tournaments options currently available for you to participate in.
There are currently many active tournaments in the game, and Splinterlands itself offers tournaments daily for you to participate in (these tournaments are always updated and reappear every few weeks).
Each tournament has a View and Enter option.
In the View option, you'll find all the tournament details, such as the rewards, the requirements to participate, and which card editions you can use.
Using the Enter button, you can register directly for the tournament.
When the Enter button is blue, you can register for the tournament. When it's red, you can't register (because you don't meet the requirements) and when it's green, you've already registered.
I'll use the Imperial Academy Adept Series tournament as an example.
Currently, this tournament has 94 participants and only Alpha and Chaos Legion cards are allowed.
The requirements to participate in the tournament are:
The tournament lasts 48 hours, with the first 24 hours being the first round and the second 24 hours being the second round.
Remember that each tournament has a specific league, which means you can only use cards up to the maximum level of that league. The Imperial Academy Adept Series tournament is in the Bronze league, which means the maximum level of your monsters will be:
Common: Max Level = 3.
Rare: Max Level = 2.
Epic: Max Level = 2.
Legendary: Max Level = 1.
Now let's take a look at the rewards for this tournament.
The rewards aren't great because this is a Bronze league tournament, other tournaments in higher leagues will reward you much more.
My tip is to always enter as many tournaments as possible and participate in all of them. The fees aren't high, and if you're a good player, you'll probably be able to make a good profit.
Now, if you're new to Splinterlands, I recommend improving your skills before participating in the tournaments because there are many experienced players playing in them, even in the Bronze League. So, perfect your strategies and use them in tournaments to earn even better results.
I recently wrote a post about Practice Mode in Splinterlands. It's a great help in improving your strategies, so I invite you to read it if you're interested: Explaining the Practice Function in Splinterlands.
An important detail about tournaments is that you need to have SPS staked and Power, which are requirements to participate and receive the rewards. So be careful if you're renting cards and SPS cards so that the rental doesn't end before you receive your rewards.
Those are today's tips, thanks for reading.
