Two new cards on the Splinterlands market and my gameplay plan

Hello friends, how are you all? I hope you are having a great time in this exciting world of Splinterlands. Those who play this game regularly know that there is no alternative to strengthening your deck here. The joy of winning or buying each new card is different. Today, I will discuss with you in detail two new cards in my collection that I recently collected from the marketplace. One of the two cards is Ballista Deadshott, and the other is a sultry barmaid.

Without further ado, let's start my personal analysis of the power and tactics of the two cards.

Let's talk about Ballista Deadshot first. Honestly, after seeing this card for the first time, I thought it was a one-hundred for high-mana battles. Although its mana cost of 13 may seem high at times, its output will blow your mind.

The card I picked is level-3. If you look at the screenshot, you will see that at level-3, its ranged attack is 5, speed is 2, armour is 3, and health is 4. Its special abilities are 'scattershot' and 'dispel'.

Scattershott: Due to this ability, it can attack any card of the opponent. Especially when the opponent wants to stop your attack in one place by using the 'Taunt' ability, this card can break through that barrier and randomly hit the cards behind it, turning the game around.

Dispel: This is a very important ability. When it hits an enemy, all the positive status effects (Buffs) on that enemy are removed. That is, if the opponent is strong like a blood seed, this deadshot will make him normal in one hit.

In my opinion, when there is a ruleset like 'Close Range' or 'Target Practice', it is the wisest thing to use this card. Since it is a neutral card, I can combine it with any Fire or Water Splinter. Although its speed is a little low, when it hits someone with a 5-power attack, there is nothing left.

The second card I collected is Sultry Barmaid. This is a great ranged card for Water Splinter. Getting such a card for only 5 mana means increasing the balance of the team.

The Barmaid card I collected is level 1, with attack 2, speed 2, and health 4. However, its real magic is hidden in its 'Ambush' ability.

Ambush: This is one of the most powerful and terrifying abilities in Splinterlands. Just before the battle starts, that is, before the first round starts, a card with the Ambush ability can attack once. Think about it, before your opponent realises anything, you have reduced the health of a weak card or knocked him out!

Future prospects: When the card levels up, it gains the 'Stun' ability, which can stun the opponent for a round. This is going to be my trump card in low-mana or medium-mana battles.

I usually like to keep it in the back row of water units. While its 2 damage doesn't seem like much, using Ambush can bring momentum to the beginning of the game. This is a great addition for those who usually prefer 'Snake' or 'Snipe' attacks.

As you can see in the screenshot, the market price of Sultry Barmaid is currently hovering around $0.066. The current market price of cards in Splinterlands fluctuates from time to time, so it's worth grabbing a good card when it's available for cheap.

The main reason why I bought these cards is their special abilities. The massive damage of 'Ballista Deadshot' and the ambush power of 'Sultry Barmaid' will make my current deck more diverse. Especially in ranked matches when we have to deal with different rulesets, having options is very important.

As a Splinterlands player, my goal is always to build efficient decks. It's not just about having big cards; you also need to know how to use them in the right places. I feel quite relieved to have these two cards added to my collection today. It's especially nice to imagine the scene when Deadshot breaks through the opponent's defences with his huge bow.

For those of you who are new to playing or building decks, I would say to pay attention to the 'Abilities' of the cards instead of just looking at their stats. Sometimes, even small cards can win big games. I'm ending it here like today. I will try to share my experience of battling with these cards with you in the coming daysEveryoneyon,e stay well, and keep playing Splinterlands regularly! See you on the battlefield.
