The long wait is over: I upgraded Lord Thanalor card to level 2 in Splinterlands.

Hello gamer friends! I hope everyone is having a great time in Splinterlands Battlefield. Those who play this game regularly must know how much joy is hidden in upgrading their deck. For a long time, I wanted to upgrade one of the most powerful legendary cards in Earth Splinter, Lord Thanalor. Finally, today the wait is over. I upgraded the card to level 2, and this article is about the story behind that upgrade and all the wonderful abilities of the card.

First, let me tell you a little back story. I bought 2 BCX (2 BCX) or 2 cards of this Lord Thanalor card quite a long time ago. At that time, the market was quite down, so I got two cards for just 6 dollars (3 dollars each). But to level up a legendary card to level 2, you need a total of 3 cards. After watching the market for a long time, I saw that there was no sign of the price coming down. Finally, I was forced to spend $5 today and bought card number 3.

Where I got two cards for $6 before, today I spent $5 just to buy one! As a gamer, there is nothing I can do, not even if it hurts a little. I was determined to strengthen my deck. And we all know that investing in good cards pays off on the battlefield. So, I gave up all my illusions and bought the card and combined it to level 2 today.

You can understand why this card is so special just by looking at the screenshots. It is a 12-mana legendary card. As you can understand, 12 mana means this is a perfect monster for high-mana battles!

Just by looking at the basic stats, your eyes will be raised. From level 1, it has 4 Magic Attack, 4 Speed, 2 Armor, and 10 Health. This means that it can attack quickly, but it also has strong health to withstand heavy enemy attacks.

Amplify - Level 1: This card has the 'Amplify' ability from the start. Its function is to increase the damage of abilities like Retaliate, Magic Reflect, Thorns, or Return Fire of other cards on your team by 1. Let's say you are using Mylor Crowling Summoner, which causes all your cards to get Thorns. If Lord Thanalo is on the field, the damage of those Thorns will increase even more! This is a game-changing support ability.

Scavenger - Level 2: The main reason to level 2 today is to get this new ability. Due to the 'Scavenger' ability, whenever a card (whether it's your team's or the enemy's) dies on the battlefield, Lord Thanalore's max health will increase by 1.

Just think! Its base health is already 10, and in a high-mana battle, when many cards are on the field and die one after another, this card's health can easily increase to 14, 15, or more. Killing a card with such huge health with 4 magic damage will be a nightmare for the opponent.

Even though I've been playing with level 1 so far, now that it's level 2, Lord Thanalore is going to be one of the main weapons in my deck. Especially in matches with 90 mana or high mana caps, or where armor or physical damage don't work, this card will reign supreme. Although buying the last card for $5 seemed like a bit of a waste at first, after unlocking the Scavenger ability, it seems like the investment was absolutely right.
