Today I am here with another new day and a new wonderful experience in the exciting world of the Splinterlands game. Those who regularly play this web3 game and are connected to the game ecosystem, they must know how exciting and competitive the game's Guild Brawl is. After the end of each season or Brawl cycle, each of us players eagerly waits to see how much reward we have accumulated. To do well in Brawl, it is not enough to play well alone; it requires a collective effort of the entire guild. After the end of last season's Guild Brawl, I finally collected my much-awaited reward, and to be honest, I was quite happy to see this year's reward. Let's not waste time and share with you the whole story of my getting this reward and opening 3 guild packs.

As you can see in the first picture, our guild,d YGG Brawlers (Niðavelli,r), performed quite well in this year's Brawl. In this Brawl, I personally won 5 battles and lost 4. Although the win-loss ratio is not very high, it was also a challenge to survive in front of the opponent's strong cards. In total, I received a reward of 8000 merits, and in addition, I received about 70.95 staked SPS (SPS). Getting SPS always gives an extra pleasure. However, after getting these merits, there was only one thought in my head - when will I go to the guild store and buy a new pack? Because the suspense that works in opening these packs is different, the joy of it is different.
After getting the merits, I go straight to the guild store without delay. However, before opening the pack, I have a regular and old habit. I never forget to buy potions before opening the pack. Because if you open a pack without potions, the chances of getting good cards are greatly reduced. If you buy a pack with the merits you have accumulated by fighting in Brawl and don't get good cards, it makes me very sad. So I always prefer to play safe games.

So the first thing I did when I went to the guild store was buy 15 Blood Stones. As you may know, Blood Stone basically doubles the chance of getting a legendary card from any pack. If you miss a legendary card when opening a pack just because you don't have a potion, you'll regret it later. So I didn't want to take this risk even if it cost a few merits. In my opinion, every player should use this type of booster before opening a pack.

After getting Blood Stone, I bought another 15 Power Stones. Power Stone basically increases the chance of getting Gold Foil cards. Gold Foil cards are always very valuable in the Splinterlands game, and playing with them also gives you extra bonus rewards in battles. After buying Blood Stone and Power Stone, I proceeded to buy the main pack with the amount of merits left in my account.

With the remaining merits I had, I was able to buy 3 Gladius Cases or Guild Packs. As you can see in the picture, each pack costs 2000 merits, so the total cost of 3 packs is 6000 merits. After buying the packs, a strange excitement was working in my mind. I was wondering when I would open the packs and see what surprises were hidden inside for me.

Then I went straight to the pack opening portal. This part of the game actually has a different magical feeling. The 3 packs I bought and the potions I bought with them were looking beautiful here. I was praying in my heart that at least one legendary or gold foil card would come my way. Since the cards in this Gladius Case cannot be traded or sold, they are very important for increasing my personal collection in the game.

When the pack magically spins on the screen after pressing the pack open button, the chest flutters a little. The moment of this pack spinning is one of the best attractions of the Splinterlands game. I started opening three packs one by one. Let's see what my luck finally gotten.

To be honest, after opening the first pack, I was a bit disappointed. Because there were no expensive cards or legendary cards here. However, I got a rare card called Ajax Lightfoot. In addition, I got the Chimney Wallstop card among the common cards. Although this card is common, it is very useful in Brawl as a melee attack due to its Reach ability and Bloodlust. Especially when playing with a fire deck in high mana battles, its combination is very strong. If you can get a kill, it becomes even stronger.

Then I opened the second pack. And this pack really makes me feel good! Even though I didn't get any legendary, it's really lucky to get three rare cards in one pack. I got Liza Fox, Cutter Brieze, and again an Ajax Lightfoot in this pack. The Cutter Brieze card is quite good for snipe attacks, and since Liza Fox's damage is very serious, it plays a very effective role in Brawl. Getting these cards together will be very useful in leveling up my collection.

Finally, I opened my third and last pack. Here too, I got a rare card, which is called Sarius. However, the most interesting aspect of opening this entire pack was getting the Katrelba Gobson card. Yes, it's a common card, but there are very few cards in the game that are as terrifying and devastating as this in Brawl Battle. When Bloodlust is added to its Sneak and Double Strike abilities, it alone has the power to finish off the entire opponent's team from one side. Those who have used this card in Brawl know very well how powerful a card it is.
Overall, if I were to express my feelings about opening these three packs today, I would say that I am quite satisfied. Yes, indeed, I did not get any legendary or very rare gold foil expensive cards. The sky-high hopes that I had before opening the pack may not have been fully fulfilled. But realistically, I got a total of 5 rare cards from the 3 packs, which is not a bad result at all. Gladius cards are already much stronger than ordinary cards, and if you can level them up, your chances of winning the game increase many times. Today's rare and important common cards have strengthened my game deck a little more. I am now better prepared for the upcoming Brawls. Hopefully, our guild YGG Brawlers (Niðavellir) will do better next season, I will be able to earn even better rewards, and I can share the joyful experience of getting a new legendary card with you.

Greetings,
It was awesome to see the three rares in one pack.
Katrelba Gobson sounds terrifying with Double Strike + Bloodlust. Does she usually survive long enough to trigger those multiple kills?
