Those who play Splinterlands regularly must know how exciting the moment of the end of the Guild Brawl season is in this game. As you can see, another Brawl round of our guild has ended. Fighting together with everyone in the guild throughout the week, planning strategies—all in all, Brawl means a different kind of madness. And the most interesting part of this madness is the rewards or 'Merits' received at the end of the Brawl.
In today's blog, I will share with you the entire journey of purchasing and opening packs with the Merits I received at the end of this season.

After the Brawl is over, there is a different kind of peace when I enter the guild section of the game. As you can see in the screenshot, 7,263 Merits have been accumulated in my account. I got this reward after seeing everyone in the guild perform quite well. Now it's time to spend these merits! So I went straight to our 'Guild Store'.

My first goal after entering the store is to buy a Gladius Case. Because if you want to do well in Brawl Battle, there is no alternative to Gladiator cards. And these cards are only available from this Gladius Case, which cannot be traded in the market.

With the 7,263 merits I had, I decided to buy a total of 3 Gladius Cases. Each pack costs 2,000 merits. So I spent 6,000 merits for the 3 packs. I bought the pack, but can I get any rare or legendary card I want just by opening the pack? I need a potion for this!

I had some Merits left, so I thought I'd buy some Blood Stones. These Blood Stones double my chances of getting Legendary cards. With the Guild Lodge discount, I bought a charge of 10 Blood Stones for just 540 Merits.

Next, I bought a Power Stone. It's a great way to increase your chance of getting Gold Foil cards. I spent 720 Merits to add another charge of 10 Power Stones to my inventory. Now all my preparations are complete. It's time for the real thrill!

Everyone knows how magical the place to open packs in Splinterlands is. As my 3 Gladius cases were glowing in front of the 'Mana Well', a hope was working in my mind—"Will I get a legendary today? Or will a terrible card like Quora Towershead be added to my deck?"

When the flipped cards appeared on the screen after clicking the pack open button, the feeling was really indescribable. The moment before flipping the cards one by one made my heart beat faster. Let's see what I got!

I was quite surprised as soon as I opened the first pack! 4 out of 5 cards were Rare cards! Palidon Rakk, Captain Katie, Ajax Lightfoot, and Alfredo. I'm especially happy to get the Captain Katie card, because she's a game-changer in Brawl with her Snipe and Bloodlust abilities. It's off to a good start.

I opened the second pack. This time I got 3 rares and 2 commons. Cards like Krash Wanderford and Cutter Brieze are pretty useful. However, even though they're common, I'm not disappointed at all with Isgald Vorst and Katrelba Gobson. Katrelba's Sneak ability in particular is enough to keep your opponent awake in low-mana battles.

Finally, I opened pack 3. This pack was a bit more basic. I got 1 rare (Sarius) and 4 commons. Chimney Wallstop is my favorite car; its reachability provides great support behind the frontline.
To be honest, I didn't get any legendary or gold foil cards after opening 3 packs, but I'm completely satisfied with what I got. Every gladiator card in Splinterlands is very valuable. Because if you get the same card repeatedly, you can combine them and level them up, which greatly increases your chances of winning in Brawl.
I'm very happy with today's drop. Now I can't wait to enter the next Brawl round with these cards! How were your Brawl rewards this time? Don't forget to let me know in the comments!
