Splinterlands New Season Thrills: Gold 1 Rewards and My New Start in Silver 2!

How are you all? I hope that wherever you are, by the grace of God, everyone is doing well and healthy with their families. When I get a little free time in the midst of my daily busyness, I really like to share some of my wonderful moments with you. Today, I am going to share with you some of my wonderful experiences in one of my favorite games.

Time seems to melt like sand in the palm of your hand, doesn't it? It seemed like a new season of Splinterlands started that day, and in the blink of an eye, another wonderful season ended! Those who play this game regularly or are involved in crypto gaming must know very well how exciting this time of the end of the season is for a player. This season's end is the time to get the real results of the hard work and strategy done throughout the season.

The new season has just begun, but before that, I can't help but talk about the last season in detail. In the previous season, I spent a lot of time and patience on the game. As a great result, my highest league tier in the Modern format was 'Gold I'. When the season-end reward page appeared on my screen at the end of the season, I was honestly filled with joy. As you can see in the first screenshot I shared with you, I received 19,726 Glint as the end-of-season reward for the last season! And the biggest surprise or happiness is that I was ranked 69th on the leaderboard. Because of this incredible rank, I was given an additional 6,250 Glint as a bonus. In addition, I also received a very small amount of 0.019 SPS. All in all, these end-of-season achievements were really special to me.

However, I didn't just store the Glints I got at the end of this season in my balance. Those of you who understand the mechanics of the game know very well how important it is to have potions when opening reward chests. It is foolish to expect to get good rarity cards without potions. So, without delay, I bought a lot of Legendary Potions and Alchemy Potions with the rewards I had accumulated. My main intention behind this purchase was that when I fight and open the reward chests in the new season, the chances of getting rare, epic, or gold foil cards would increase manifold.

Now, let's talk about the current situation of the new season. Since the start of the new season, I have started playing battles with renewed enthusiasm and full attention. After several tough battles and difficult matches to keep my nerves, I was finally able to unlock another league. Yes, friends, as you can see in my second screenshot, I have now reached the 'Silver II' league! The feeling of relief that comes after reaching Silver Two can only be felt by gamers.

After unlocking Silver Two, I received several chest rewards. As per picture number 3, 5 ordinary or minor chests (brown color) and 2 special or major chests (blue and red color) were accumulated in my inventory. The moment before opening these chests always creates a different thrill or excitement for me. What is inside that box? Itt is really difficult to contain this curiosity!

When I clicked on the button to open the chests, right then, a pop-up to use the Legendary and Alchemy Potions that I had previously purchased appeared on the screen. Without any hesitation, I confirmed both options by ticking the tick marks. Then, when the magical blue chests started to open with lightning-like blue light (which you can see in the chest opening animation I shared), I was honestly a little worried—will luck be on my side today?

Finally, the wait was over, and the rewards were revealed before my eyes. Among the complete rewards I received were 1 rare scroll, 1 common scroll, and 2 special entry tickets. However, the two most interesting things I received were 1 great rare card—named 'Anchor-Hex Adep,t' and with it I received 571 Merits. The card looks quite funny, like a magical mouse, but I believe its ability will be very useful in the battles ahead of me. And getting so many Merits will be very convenient for me to buy the Gladiator Pack from the Guild Store later.

All in all, the start of this new season of Splinterlands was quite wonderful and positive for me. These small achievements in a game, the joy of creating new strategies, es and unboxing rewards actually increase my love for the game every day.
