Splinterlands: I won in one pack, I got two gold cards!

Those who play Splinterlands know how valuable the rewards from guild brawls are. When the reward notification comes after the brawl is over, there is a different kind of excitement in my heart. Today I will share with you about that exciting experience.

It all started after today's brawl results came in. Our guild performed quite well this time. Personally, I received 7,771 Merits and 71,029 Staked SPS for my participation. Before that, I had some merits accumulated in my account, and in total, I accumulated 9,102 merits.

Shopping at the guild store is more fun than hoarding these merits in the game. I decided to buy some Gladius Cases. For those who don't know, these cards are much more powerful than normal cards and can only be used in Guild Brawls.

I went to the guild store and spent 8,000 merits and bought a total of 4 Gladius Cases. But not just buying packs, you need some magic to increase your chances of getting good cards! So I spent another 1,100 merits and bought 20 Blood Stones. These Blood Stones double your chances of getting legendary cards.

After finishing all the shopping, I went to the 'Mana-well' section. In front of me were 4 shiny packs and 20 activated blood stones. To be honest, my hands were shaking! I was praying in my heart that I would get at least one good one.

When I opened the first pack, I got some good cards. From Helmet Kharafax to rare cards like Cutter Bridge, there were some. But the dissatisfaction in my heart was gone as soon as I opened the second pack.

As soon as I flipped the second pack, my eyes popped out! Can't believe it? I got two Gold Foil cards in the same pack! Getting a gold foil card is a matter of luck; there are two gold cards in a pack—it was beyond my imagination.

In this pack, I got the gold foil 'Chimney Wallstop' and 'Whistling Damon'. Chimney Wallstop is one of my favorite cards. Due to its 'Reach' and 'Bloodlust' abilities, it can turn the game around on the battlefield alone. And the sniper shots of the Whistling Damon are simply awesome.

In the next two packs, I also got several useful cards. Rare cards like Captain Katie and Relenor Cleaver will undoubtedly strengthen my deck.

The best part of my achievement is the status of these gold cards. The Chimney Wallstop gold card is straight up level 3. Its 5 attack power and 9 health will be a fearsome weapon for any opponent. On the other hand, the Whistling Demon card is also level 3, and its snipe ability will take my ranged attacks to another level.

Today's pack opening will be one of the best days of my Splinterlands career. This is where the joy of gaming comes in—when you get such an unexpected reward after hard work, all the hard work seems worthwhile.
