Guild Brawls in Splinterlands have always been special to me. It's not just about card battles, it's about guild honor and teamwork. Today I'm going to share with you an amazing battle I played for my YGG Brawlers (Niðavellir) guild, where I won against a very strong opponent, JULIUSM518 (HD HYBORIAN DREAM guild).

This battle was a high-mana cap, which allowed me to use the best and biggest cards from my deck. This match was a testament to how powerful the new Rebellion Edition cards can be, especially.

Understanding the ruleset is the most important thing to win any match. The conditions we had in front of us in this match:
Mana Cap: 57 (huge mana, so there was an opportunity to use Titan or Legendary cards instead of small cards).
Ruleset 1: What Doesn't Kill You (Enrage): This ruleset is a game-changer. As soon as you get hit, the Melee Attack and Speed of each monster will increase by 50%. That is, those who can survive the hit will become terrible later.
Ruleset 2: Knock Out: If a monster is Stunned, it will take double damage. (Although I didn't focus much on Stun, my focus was on brute force.
Available Elements: Fire, Water, Earth, Life, Death, Dragon.
Since the Dragon element was available and the mana cap was very high, I decided to use Dragon Summoner. Dragon cards usually have very high stats, which is a plus in this type of battle.

Summoner: NIDHOGGR (Dragon/Rebellion)
I chose this new Rebellion Summoner because of its amazing dual buff/debuff capabilities.
Debuff: It reduces enemies to -1 Armor and -1 Health before the battle starts. This is very effective against opponents with high armor.
Chosen Buff: I selected Blast and Deathblow (although the screenshot also had the option of +2 Speed/Execute, but Blast is more effective in high mana matches because it damages multiple cards at once)

I put Executioner Kraan in the front row. Its Void Armor helps block magic attacks. Since this card has Enrage in the ruleset, its speed will increase when it gets hit, nd it will create a chance to miss. Its armor and health make it a solid frontline defense.

As the name suggests, this card is perfect for this ruleset. Rage has Flying and Void abilities. Being Flying allows it to dodge Melee/Ranged attacks, and being Void reduces magic damage. With 12 health and 5 armor, it has served as my secondary tank.

I put it in the middle position as a support and damage dealer. Its high health keeps it safe from blast damage. These cards from the Rebellion set perform very well in the Enrage ruleset.

I put it in the back. Its specialty is the Charge ability, through which it can attack from any position. In addition, despite its Wweakness it can deal a lot of damage at the beginning and can block sneak attacks behind its armor.

I placed this monster card at the very back. It has the Fury ability, which deals double damage against Taunt cards. Moreover, its health is very high, so it was the best for backline protection.

Round 1: Initial Clashes*
As soon as the battle started, my Nidhoggr debuff started working. The opposing team's Quix the Devious Summoner slowed my ranged attacks and reduced my speed. Their team had powerful cards like Drybone Barbarian and Sola Ranjell.
In the first round, both sides hit each other. But since they had low armor due to my Nidhoggr, my attacks started to quickly drain their health. My Executioner Kraan took some damage, but he survived because of his Void Armor.

Round 2: Enrage mode active!
In the second round, the real game began. Due to the What Doesn't Kill You ruleset, my Rage and Executioner Kraan's speed and melee attacks increased drastically after they were hit. The opposing Drybone Barbarian couldn't keep up with my high-speed attacks. My Ironwing Juggernaut charged from behind and hit the enemy's middle order. Despite their healing support, my damage output was very high.

*Round 3 & 4: On the road to victory
In the third round, the enemy's Sola Ranjell (Gladiator card) tried to get Bloodlust, but my Rage's Flying and Void abilities were able to stop her. My team's high speed now become a nightmare for them. One by one, their Prismologist and Supply Runner fell victim to my attacks. Finally, in the fourth round, my Barashkukor and Warborn Shaman combined to break the enemy's last resistance.

🏆 Results and Lessons Learned (Conclusion)
My strategy and card selection played a big role in this victory.
Splinterlands is not just about having good cards; the real skill is in arranging the cards according to the ruleset. This win for YGG Brawlers has made me more confident. I hope you enjoyed this battle breakdown, and it will help you in your next brawl.
See you on the next Battleground!
