Those who play Splinterlands regularly know very well how exciting Guild Brawl is. Another Brawl round of our guild has just ended. I eagerly await the Merits that are awarded at the end of each Brawl. Because these Merits can be used to buy one of the most powerful card packs in the game, the Gladius Case. At the end of this season, I had a pretty good amount of Merits. When the balance reached a pretty good point with the accumulated Merits, I thought I would buy the pack without delay. Today, I am sharing my entire experience of buying and opening that pack with you.
First, I went straight to our guild store. After checking my balance, I saw that I had accumulated 7671 Merits.

My goal was to buy 3 Gladius Cases. Each pack costs 2000 Merits in the store, so my total cost for the 3 packs was 6000 Merits. While buying the packs, I was filled with a different kind of joy. Who knows, maybe today a Legendary or Gold Foil card will be added to my deck!

I bought the pack, but opening the pack without a potion is a bit of a fool. Because potions greatly increase the chances of getting good cards. So I decided to buy some Blood Stones and Power Stones from the guild store. Blood Stones double the chance of getting Legendary cards. I bought 15 Blood Stones for 810 Merits. The most interesting thing is that since our guild lodge level is good, I also got a 10 percent discount on this purchase.

Then I bought Power Stones, which increase the chances of getting Gold Foil cards. I bought 10 Power Stones for 720 Merits, thanks to the discount. Now my preparations for opening the pack are 100 percent complete.

After finishing all the purchases, I went to the game's open tab. On the screen, I saw that the 3 Gladius cases I had bought were ready to open. Along with the blood and power stones, they were also activated. Whenever I came in front of this portal, my heart fluttered.

I said Bismillah and opened the first pack. When I turned the cards over, I felt pretty good. Although I didn't get a legendary, I got a great epic card called Garth. Along with this, I got great sneak cards like Catrelba Gibson and Chimney Wallstop. As a first pack, I was quite satisfied with this result.

Now it's the turn of the second pack. In this pack, I got a rare card called Cutter Bridge. In addition, I also got common cards like Helmet Kharafax, Crash Wonderford, and Whistling Demon. It's good to get another Cattleba Gibson, because it will be very useful for leveling up.

My excitement decreased a little when I got to the last pack. Because there were no legendary or gold foil cards here either. In this pack, I got a rare card, Sarius. Along with Ysgald Vorst, Witch of Warwick, and some other common cards that I got in the previous pack.

To be honest, before opening the 3 packs, I was really hoping that I would get at least one legendary card this time. But unfortunately, I didn't get anything like that. Even then, I'm not disappointed at all. Gladius cards are already very powerful in Splinterlands because of their Bloodlust ability. The cards I got, especially the Epic Garth and rare cards, will be very useful in the guild brawl battles I'm facing. Even if I don't win a big jackpot, the whole process of the game gives me a lot of joy. The thrill of fighting in brawls, accumulating merits, calculating and buying potions, and finally turning over the cards is the real fun. I will try to do better in the upcoming brawls, so that I can win more merits and open the pack again. I am ending my experience here today.
