Finally, I reached the Gold League in Splinterlands! A strange journey of 150 battles

Finally, I feel at peace! Only I know how long I have been trying to reach this Gold League. Those who play Splinterlands regularly know how much it costs to upgrade the league. Today, I was finally able to reach Modern Gold 3 from Silver 1. But to be honest, this road was not easy for me at all. In today's post, I will share with you the full details of my journey to reach this Gold League and the rewards I received.

The amount of work I had to do to get from Silver to Gold is really hard to describe. I don't know if you will believe it or not, but I had to play about 150 battles just to pass this one league! Yes, you heard me right, 150! There are so many pro players and heavy, heavy cards in the Silver League now that it is difficult to compete with them.

How many times has this happened? If I win just one more match, I will go up to Gold, but right then I lose a few matches in a row, and my rating drops again. It is impossible to describe how bad my mood was at that time. I felt like giving up the game; I didn't think I would see Gold again this season. But I was persistent, after losing, I re-arranged my strategy, changed my card combinations, and played the game again.

Finally, after so many losses and wins, when I saw the words 'UNLOCKED MODERN GOLD III' on the screen, Icould nott describe the joy that was working in my heart. You can see that moment in the screenshots. The mental fatigue that I had after playing 150 matches disappeared in an instant as soon as I saw the words 'Congratulations, Battle Mage'. Actually, when you get something after a lot of hard work, it's a different kind of fun.

The league has been upgraded; now comes the most exciting part of the game - claiming rewards! I got a total of 11 chests. Out of these, 7 were regular chests, and the remaining 4 were special blue chests. Before opening the chests, the game gave me the option to use potions. I had already accumulated several potions in my account. I saw that there were 143 legendary and 88 alchemy potions. I thought, let's use them when I have the opportunity! So I confirmed the legendary and alchemy potions at 11, so that the chance of getting a good epic, legendary,y or gold foil card doubles.

After confirming the potions, I opened the chest with a lot of excitement. I was thinking to myself, maybe after playing 150 matches, the game will give me a legendary card! But brother, the forehead is not that good. However, what I got is not worth throwing away at all. Among the cards, I got 'Cullborn Revenant', a very useful card of the undead element. I also got 'Torrent Sniper' of the avian type, which is a rare card. I think it will give me good support on the water deck. And I got another card of the water element 'Coralforged'. I will try some new combinations with these cards in the upcoming matches.

Along with the cards, I also got 118 merits. I am saving these, and later I want to buy a Gladius case from the guild store. Another interesting thing is that the potions that I spent, I got several more legendary and alchemy potions back as rewards. All in all, I am quite happy with my rewards.

The rewards may not seem like much to many people compared to the hard work of 150 matches. But for me, reaching this Gold League is a huge achievement. Now my new journey in the Gold League has begun. I know the players here will be more dangerous, and the matches will be harder. But I'm ready for this new challenge.
