Today we played more chapters from Splinterlands. Usually, I only complete one chapter and then close the game. But today I had some extra time, so I decided to complete two chapters instead of one.
You can see below, this is chapter 3, where I am in the battle with my cards. The opponent was also ready with his cards. As I only have one Archon ( Aurelia ), I took that Archon into the battle. Also, since I only had two cards, I decided to take both of them into the match.
After completing Chapter 3, we were rewarded with a card which was a range card. These cards are generally different from the melee attack cards because they can also use their attack from a different position.
Now we started Chapter 4. As you can see below, Professor Magnus Flint gave us some lessons about how the opponent attacks us. He told us that the opponent usually attacks our first card, so it is best to fill it with a tank card, which means a strong card that has good health count.
So obviously, I took my best card there, which is the Barbarian. Then we added the second card, which was a melee card again, and lastly we put the ranged card at the end, as that card cannot use its attack from the first position. It is better to keep that card at the very end.
My battle lineup can be seen below. I chose Aurelia as my Archon, and the three cards that I told can be seen below.
You can see below that the battle came to a point where we were left with two cards and the opponent was left with only one card. The opponent’s card was a ranged attack card, so it could not use its ability to attack us as it was in the first position. We continued to use our attacks until the opponent’s card health reached zero, and that is how we won this battle.
After completing Chapter 4, we were also rewarded with another range card. Now we have completed a total of four chapters, as you can see in the screenshot below.
I will be trying to complete all the chapters in the next one to two days as I have already taken a lot of time. Sadly, I am short on time to play games. Though I am enjoying playing Splinterlands, especially as I have completed more chapters, the game feels even more interesting to me now. I am looking forward to exploring what comes next in the future.
