I hope all of you are enjoying an amazing day with your family and friends and eagerly waiting for the weekend. But for those who play this game seriously, I guess you are all pretty busy right now on the battlefield brainstorming to come out with inevitable lineups and lose your opponents back to back. Well, because if we take a look at the season clock, only 6 days and 19 hours are left for this ongoing ranked season to meet its end. As a splinterlands player, every one of you must have set some goals for this season, whether it is to climb up and enter a certain league tier or to secure a glorious spot at the champion top leaderboard. But as time passes by, it would get harder and harder to reach there, as more players get active and join the bloody battlefield. So, I would suggest working harder and reach there as soon as possible, because unless you are an unbeatable OG player, you must try to avoid the season end bloodbath, which will be at its peak during the last 2 days of the season.

Now, on the other hand, a bunch of new updates and fixes have kicked in the game as announced in the official Splinterlands discord channel by RoyalEagle. This batch of updates includes a handful of hotfixes and new features, as shared in the update above. Some of the important updates among the list were introducing filters for battle history that include wins, losses, and draws, updated lore for Conclave Arcana characters, availability of CA reward cards in conflict wagons, and stats upgrade for the Tasoshi Drakamoto voucher card.

Now, coming back to the main topic of this post, today I will be showcasing another amazing Conclave Arcana card with you all, and as you have already seen it in the thumbnail above, today I will be shining the spotlight on the Fithe Bladestone. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this card, let’s take a dive without any further ado.

Fithe Bladestone

FITHE BLADESTONE is an archon or summoner type card that was introduced in the game with the launch of the Conclave Arcana edition cardset. This archon card belongs to the Fire element, and it comes from the Dwarf bloodline. This archon card costs only 4 mana to be used in battles, so you can easily choose this archon while playing small to medium mana limit matches or those with Little League ruleset. By rarity, it is a Rare type card, so you will require a total of 115 BCX cards in order to upgrade this card to its max level. Now, because it is an archon card, it does not hold any attack stats or abilities; instead, it holds 3 buffs, which I will discuss below.

BUFFS

+2 ARMOUR

If you choose this card as your archon, then all the friendly monsters will have +2 armour on their back. This buff will really help you to defend against melee and range monsters, since their attacks first hit the armour before going for the health. Hence, this buff is helpful to increase the overall defence stat of your lineup.

Now, for the rest group of 2 linked buffs that this card holds, the first buff is called Bloodline Dominion, and the second one is Void. Please note that for this ability linked group, the second ability, i.e., Void, will only be applied to the friendly monsters who are affected by the first ability, i.e., Bloodline Dominion. In this case, only the friendly monsters that carry the same Dwarf bloodline will get the Void ability.

BLOODLINE DOMINION

Units that share a bloodline with this archon can be summoned from any element and gain the linked ability.

As you can clearly see, this buff opens a whole new possibility for you by giving you the ability to choose monsters from any other element, irrespective of the fact that you are using a Fire element archon here. This would help you to fill your lineup with the best cards possible that are suitable for the battle, and on the other hand, it will also give your opponent a hard time guessing which cards you will actually be using in the battle.

VOID

Monsters with this ability will get 50% less damage (rounded up) from magic attackers or 0 damage from the magic attacks of 1 power.

Last but not least, I have to say I am really impressed with the buffs of this archon. First of all, it gives you the ability to choose monsters from other elements that come from the same Dwarf bloodline, and secondly, its +2 armour and Void buff (only same bloodline monsters will receive this ability) will protect your monsters from all 3 types of attacks. So overall, being a rare type card, this is really a powerful archon and obviously deserves a place in your collection. What do you say?
