Splinterlands | The Dragon Archon in Conclave Arcana provides more Speed

Hello Splinterlands fam!

I hope you all are doing fine in your lives and spending a lovely day with your family and friends. If you are also a regular splinterlands player just like me, I hope you are dedicatedly playing this game and playing or already finished all the in-game tasks today, including playing ranked and frontier, brawls and tournaments and also checking in your Land plots and claiming your produced resources, if you are active in the land business. If you have been playing in the previous ranked and frontier season, which ended just around an hour ago, I hope you reached your goals before the reset time and as another fresh season has started already for both of these modes, I hope you are preparing to jump into it as well. Now, taking a look at the ongoing season’s timer, we have a long time frame of 15 days and 22 hours in hand before this fresh new season to meet its end. So, its time again to set a goal and act upon it and whether you choose your mission to enter a particular league tier and claim some juicy reward chests, or you want to compete against the top players of splinterlands in the champion leaderboard for a glorious seat, remember to pour in all the strength and strategy you can and win as many matches as you can. But, don’t forget to keep an eye on your battle energy bar as well and don't get too emotional when you start making a losing streak, so that you don't end up with no battle energy when you need it the most.

On the other hand, in Frontier mode, things are starting to heat up as the Splinterlands team has recently launched 4 new Foundation edition cards into the game, and people are getting mad after them. These 4 new cards are rare jackpot cards that fall under the Extra type and can be earned from daily frontier mission rewards. But please note that, unlike all the other normal foundation cards, these are pretty rare to receive. For me, I am, as usual, playing in the Gold I league tier and after the season reset, I am back at 2,500 trophies again and just like every other season, for this season also my goal will remain the same, to hit 4,000 trophies. Last season, I was able to hit 3,860 trophies and I think a little more push will do the job. Let's see how it goes for this season.

Kavor Skarn

Moving forward, let us now come to the main topic of this post, as today, I will be showcasing another amazing Conclave Arcana card with you all. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about the KAVOS SKARN. So, if you are interested in knowing more about this card, then let’s take a dive without any further ado.

The Kavos Skarn is a archon type card, which was first seen in the game with the launch of the latest Conclave Arcana core edition cardset. This archon card belongs to the Dragon element and it comes from the Drakoshan bloodline. By rarity, it is a rare type card, so you would require a total of 115 CC cards in order to upgrade this archon to max level. To use this archon in your lineup, you need to spend only 3 mana, so you can easily choose this archon when playing low to high mana limit matches, or the ones with Little Leagues ruleset. This is an archon card and hence does not carry any stats, it holds a special buff or ability that it provides to each friendly monster card in the battles, which I am about to talk later in this post. Let us now take a further look at this card’s league wise supporting monsters and buff below to know more about this archon.

BRONZE - At Bronze max league or level 2, this archon supports max -> level 3 commons, level 2 rares, level 2 epics and level 1 legendary cards.

SILVER - At Silver max league or level 4, it supports max -> level 5 commons, level 4 rares, level 3 epics and level 2 legendary cards.

GOLD - At Gold max league or level 6, this archon card supports max -> level 8 commons, level 6 rares, level 5 epics and level 3 legendary cards.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION - At its max league or level 8, this archon card will support all max cards -> level 10 commons, level 8 rares, level 6 epics and level 4 legendary cards.

BUFFS

Like most of the archon cards in the Splinterlands game, this archon card also holds some buffs and here, it possesses a bloodline buff, which gets applied since its initial level. Let us now dive deep into the details below to see what this archon actually provides us.

Now, the buff that this archon carries is actually a Bloodline special buff, so it gets applied only to the friendly monsters that possess the same bloodline as this archon card.

BLOODLINE DOMINION

Units of the following bloodlines can be summoned from any element and gain the linked ability or stat: +1 speed.

+1 SPEED

+1 speed to a friendly monster who belongs to the same bloodline.

As you can clearly see, this archon gives all the friendly monsters +1 speed, making them attack faster. So, this archon will be very useful when you battle with fast attacking monsters. On the other hand, the bloodline dominion ability enables you to select monsters from other elements also, if they belong to the same bloodline as the archon, Drakoshan, for this archon. Now, these same bloodline monsters will receive the +1 speed stat, so they will be gaining more speed and hence, you land attacks faster and hopefully kill enemy cards before they even launch their attacks. Thus, it is indeed a powerful archon for Dragon monsters and I think it does deserve a place in your arsenal. What do you think?
