Hello Splinterlands Warriors,

Welcome back to another fresh and juicy Splinterlands post, and I hope all of you are doing great and enjoying a fantastic day with your loved ones. Now, if you are one of those who are actively playing this web3 game irrespective of the crypto market condition and continuously focusing on growing your card collection, then I believe you have already jumped into the grind again, as a brand new ranked season has just started today. If we take a quick peek at the current ranked season timer, there are around 15 days and 19 hours left, which means we are right at the beginning of a fresh journey. So once again, it is time to start pushing and shoving until you reach your goal league tier, collect those reward chests, or aim for top leaderboard positions in the champion league if you are feeling confident enough. But whatever path you choose, just make sure to manage your battle energy wisely throughout the season so you can maximise your rewards.

Now, talking about my own progress in the game, I am playing deeply into the Frontier league as usual, and after the season reset, I am currently back at around 2,500 trophies and playing in the Gold I league tier. Now, my main goal remains the same, which is to reach the 4,000 trophy mark first and then try pushing further for the leaderboard. Since it is still early in the season, I will try to progress steadily without rushing too much.

On the other hand, if we take a look at the weekly Frontier raffle, I am starting fresh again with 0 entries, and with around 7 days left before the next raffle draw, I will try to build this number up to at least 54 to 57 entries. Interestingly, in the last raffle, I actually managed to win a card, which was a black foil rare type card called Time Bandit from the Earth element, so that was a nice little reward and definitely motivates me to keep trying.

Apart from that, I also made a small upgrade to my collection today by purchasing the required 1 CC card of the monster Sorrow Harvester from the official marketplace. I spent only around 35.61 DEC for this purchase, and with this addition, my card has now reached its max level of 6, which feels like a satisfying upgrade.

Bren Palesworn

Now moving forward, let us come to the main topic of this post, as today I will be taking a closer look at another interesting monster from the Conclave Arcana set. As you have already seen in the title and thumbnail above, today I will be focusing the spotlight on the Bren Palesworn. So if you are interested in learning more about this monster, let us dive deeper without any further delay.

The Bren Palesworn is a monster-type card that was introduced in the game with the launch of the Conclave Arcana edition cardset. This monster belongs to the Neutral element and comes from the Human bloodline. By rarity, this card is a Legendary monster, so you will require a total of 11 CC cards to upgrade it to its maximum level. Now, if you eagerly want to throw this monster in battles, you need to spend 6 mana, which makes it a strong option for medium to high mana limit matches. The attack type of this monster is quite unique because it comes with both Melee and Ranged attacks, allowing it to deal dual damage every turn. At its maximum level, this monster gains a total of four abilities, which makes it a very versatile and powerful unit. Let us now take a closer look at its league-wise stats and abilities below to find more about this monster.

BRONZE

At level 1, this monster possesses interesting stats that consist of 1 melee and 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 4 health. Apart from these base stats, it also gets two abilities from its initial level called Sneak and Shapeshift. This combination allows it to attack the backline enemy monsters while also enjoying being counted as all bloodlines.

SNEAK – Targets the enemy unit in the last position.

ability_shapeshift.png

SHAPESHIFT – Treated as all bloodlines.

SILVER

When you upgrade this monster further to level 2, its stats remain similar, but it unlocks another powerful ability called Weapons Training. This ability can turn the no-attack tank card units into attackers, which adds a lot of strategic value by adding sudden and more firepower.

WEAPONS TRAINING – Gives attack type and power to adjacent no-attack units (up to 3 power).

GOLD

As this monster gets upgraded further and reaches level 3, its stats improve, and it now carries 2 melee and 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. Even though there are no new abilities unlocked at this level, the increase in attack makes it more dangerous in battles.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when you upgrade this monster to its maximum level of 4, its stats improve further and it now holds 3 melee and 2 ranged attack power at 3 speed with 5 health. At this level, it also gains another very useful ability called True Strike. This ensures that all its attacks land successfully, making it very reliable in combat.

TRUE STRIKE – Attacks will never miss.

Last but not least, I think this monster can be extremely useful in many different types of battles. First of all, having both melee and ranged attack types for just 6 mana makes it quite powerful and flexible in different match situations, especially in melee mayhem or super sneak ruleset matches. Another strong point is its Weapons Training ability, which allows you to turn adjacent non-attacking monsters into attackers, adding extra damage potential to your lineup. On top of that, the True Strike ability ensures that it never misses its attacks, which makes it very deadly and consistent. Overall, I think the Bren Palesworn is a very powerful and useful monster that can fit into many strategies and provide strong offensive output. What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed reading my post about BREN PALESWORN. Let me know your thoughts about today's post in the comments section below, and I look forward to seeing you all in my next post.
